KEDD344 16 metres at 14.6 grams/tonne (uncut) or 16 metres at 11.9
grams/tonne (cut) from 111 metres to 127 metres and the hole
bottomed in the ore zone (Note 2).

Note 2 - In order to reduce the influence of exceptionally high assay
values for purposes of evaluating overall grades, it has been decided
to cut any higher values to a maximum grade of 30 grams/tonne and
grades are quoted herein in both cut and uncut form.

what lies deeper?

DaveN thats the way it is with GEX but it wont always be so.

1Waving - I now have a different perspective on the possibilities of that nic, LOL. As usual I find it difficult to add constructively to your excellent and hugely valued contributions here.

It has been my understanding from attending the 2006 AGM that Solona is viewed by the GEX hierarchy as having the potential to contain another substantial orebody.

This years AGM should be interesting.

Hugh McC does not use words such as exciting. This is beginning to look very good indeed.

They will certainly need more drills but the bottleneck seems to be at the assay labs - they have only received results for 20 out of 34 holes drilled at Komana East. I'm sure Hugh will be drilling flat out over the next two months until the rains bring things to a halt in June.

What is really good news too is the 16m at 14.6 gt, which shows that there are also high-grade areas here just as there are at Komana West. This will make a big impact on the resource figure.

Rig availibility may be a hinderance for GEX but it wouldnt be for the likes of Barrick, Randgold or GF! Forward planning man, forward planning!!!

The question for us NOW is to garner as many GEX shares ASAP before the JV
(and there will be a JV - its only a question of time and that is what GEX has to address itself to just as much as the Komana drilling programme) is announced.

Hugh hasn't got the time to play cricket, should be off to Mali with his bucket and spade. Wonder how fast he can dig. More drill rigs needed.

Id nearly tell Hugh Mc to contain himself.

Words like "exciting" are just not cricket!!!!!

Its time for GEX to seriously consider upgrading the intensity of their Komana drilling programme and this will require considerable resources. A timely JV with a robust and energetic (Id say zealous) partner with all the funds that GEX needs to ID the length, depth and true extent of mineralisation in the Komnana area should be considered prior to the AGM - IF not already underway.

Its clear that GEX is perched on top of a very significant asset and it needs to get seriously cracking NOW in relation to getting a JV on board to advance this find to a working mine status ASAP.

GEX must act to pre-empt any perception of dithering and they have not been noted for this fault to date.

Excellent results with Hugh Mc using very bullish words when he is normally quite cautious. Looks like a real cracker at Komana East. Well done to the Glencar geologists.

"We anticipate that current drilling programme will impact very significantly on the next Komana resource update."

Very bullish words from Hugh!

All looking good, shame we dont have the volume to back it up...yet

Sounds exciting, the share price will pick up in due course. Coverage from the IC and Shares will also boost it in the next few weeks and months I expect.
