Yes it would seem those rns are sellers from placing far lower than here. 6p I think. Nothing to worry about as still very small free float and news is going to be game changing. Wouldn't be normal if we didn't have a bit of profit taking after such a rise.

Good morning

The huge share price increase yesterday would presumably have led to a "no reason.." RNS if management had no clue as to why the share price rose by 70%+.
Presumably the 2 rns today signify only that 2 investors are taking profits?.

After the huge rise yesterday some profit taking is to be expected as some traders cash out. But the March upwards is on track. Good top up opportunity could be at 18p.Gla

10 March 2017

here's another company (Avalon Advanced Metal), also feeling that indium is economically viable to mine

Rising tin prices fuel reopening

Bubar told CBC's Information Morning that the ore the plant will be using was mined in the 1980s, but fell below the cut-off grade to justify processing as tin prices fell.

Bubar said with tin prices climbing back up to around $20,000 US a tonne, it's now worth it to process the ore.

Advancements in extraction technology have also created opportunities to extract metals from the ore that historically would have been unreachable.

"There's going to be opportunity to take advantage of this, to extract some of the other rare metals in the resource such as indium," said Bubar.

banksy.. it's not a brand new exploration at Lagoa Salgada. Do a search .. you'll find what was reported in the past before acquisition.

whilst everyone creams over Indium and possible monster copper assays..(rightly so!!)..There's also a little nugget from last results .. which you don't find often on AIM tiddlers with a small market cap.-------The Company realized a net profit of GBP209,000 during the six months to June 2016, as against a net loss of GBP137,000 booked during the corresponding period in 2015.We are now essentially debt free, following the repayment of GBP159,000 of debt in the autumn of 2015. The board is committed to maintaining a strong balance sheet.

Two steps forward and one backwards for the share price

Never having held a share the share price of which has increased by 100% in one day, it would be good if MAFL does that.

Won't complain if not though as the share price gain is already v significant .

There won't be an RNS for price movement as the value in the first place is low, I would expect a 60p a share a short term before going north upward.

Nothing fires up the imagination quite like a porphyry target does it?Throw in some $560k a tonne indium and you have an explosive mix

Completed a petrographic study on the Lagoa Salgada project highlighting the presence of abnormally high levels of indium in the evaluated ore zones (Note: Indium is a mineral used in touch screens and flat televisions technologies as well as solar panels. Indium currently sells for US$570,000 per/tonne)

A time to Buy not Sell

LSE:

MAFL focuses on investing in large, liquid businesses and projects in the precious metals, mining, commodities, oil and gas sectors.

We are starting our rerate now.....missed SOLG? Get in now :) IMO
The premium of 25% from 1st to 2nd placing gave it away. The BOD know....shortly we will too.

✅We expect drilling results from Lagoa Salgada within the next 6 or 7 trading days as confirmed by the BOD on 8th March via RNS
✅ The BOD has just confirmed today via RNS that there are "ABNORMALLY HIGH LEVELS OF INDIUM"
which is scarce and sells at $560,000 a tonne.
✅The board have reiterated finding high concentrations of copper (2.95%) continually for 93m
✅ Just completed 2 placings which saw £650,000 raised..we are soon to find out why 👌🏼
✅Over £1,100,000 cash in the bank
✅NO DEBT – unusual for an AIM listed company
✅£200k+ PROFIT on activities last year – even more unusual for an AIM listed company
✅Very limited free float - calculated 9 to 11 million shares (28 to 35% of 31.4m shares in issue). When this blows….it will be very, very difficult to get on board for the ride.
✅A 49% stake in TH Crestgate which has the Lagoa Salgada project on the Iberian Pyrite belt. This project has a potentially massive Copper Poryphyry play in addition to Zinc, Lead, Gold, Silver and other valuable metals. (SOLG have a porphyry)
✅Indications of excellent drill results at Lagoa Salgada and await confirmation of a Joint Venture partnership.
✅A significant holding in privately held Cap Energy. Cap de-risked its projects in 2016 and is highly prospective to strike oil across a possible 4 exploration wells. We hold stock at a very profitable over 40% below CAP’s equity finance fund raise of April 2016)
✅109 million shares in stock market listed Ferrum Crescent. We sold Toral and Lago Zinc/Lead projects (via TH Crestgate) to Ferrum Crescent for £326,500 cash and shares.
✅Significant ETF holdings in Silver and Gold which have shown double digit percentage gains
✅Appreciating stock holdings in Glencore (up 20% over last few months), ASX listed Independence Group(Gold/Ni), First Quantum (Cu/Ni)and TERN plc.
✅Very lean business – only 2 Executive Directors on the BOD, compared to 5 or 6 in comparable AIM companies. Directors only taking £50k per annum in wages.
✅Globally respected board of directors with experience of over $35 billion in mining based financing and decades of experience in selecting exceptional mining/resources investments.
✅BOD hold c.30% of MAFL. Unsurprisingly, Jacques Vaillaincourt’s sole objective and mission is to increase shareholder value as quickly as possible. A HUGE amount of Skin in the Game….again, unusual for AIM.

Currently, in my opinion we will likely be sat at 27p to 29p prior to drill results in the next 6 or so trading days.
