Clearly we have only heard the one side,however it sounds like the meeting,today, went favourably if kirk reckons it is rallying?

On second reading it's unclear if being voted out triggers that +$500k clause
may be more likely he just gets the standard payoff of a year's salary ($180k)

A bigger issue is the voting down of the company's ability to issue new shares
which potentially threatens its solvency.

That has cleared the air somewhat.
It would be nice to know who's hand was behind the emphatic removal of the CEO. I suspect one of the big financial backers, and that the new director has their approval.
So what happens next?
No doubt there will be more news soon....
.... not to mention fences to be mended in the Ollachea community.

The implication seems to be that this article link posted last week (effectively saying that Hodges was dead meat) was substantially correct.

All we can hope for is that it is the locals who have instigated the whistle-blowing and that when the offenders have been swiftly removed, that everyone comes back on board again.

Couldn't agree more. The blog linked above is a bit biased but I think the gist of it is right. I hoped benavides would take the reins personally and now considering my options (sell at a massive loss basically)
