Might be worth it for long-term PI's if the team was currently heading upwards instead of downwards.
The club & the team need to consolidate this season (which the offer should assist with) before the eventual move into the promised land... at the expense of Wet Spam !!!!!

Should shareholders
approve the resolutions concerning the Open Offer, the loans and accrued
interest from all sources other than CVH, amounting to GBP2.3 million will be
repaid in full. It is expected that up to GBP8.0 million of the loans from CHV
will be repaid if the Open Offer is fully subscribed. CHV have agreed that the
repayment date for the balance of loans will be extended from 31 March 2011 to 1
July 2012.

The proposed Open Offer will also raise at least GBP2.2 million in cash.

Dont all rush, you can get MWH shares for just £10 in the Open Offer! A quick sell at today's price of 760p and you would have a very useful CGT loss to use to offset gains made elsewhere!!

I think i will pass on putting my money back in to them...good luck to you all...at least you should see a nice little rise today back to around half the price they were when they first announced this in september...imo.

nothing to do with mm's...everything to do with a market cap of £3m and a rights issue of £11m as announced 8 weeks ago.

no one in their right mind would buy shares until they announce what the next step is.

well what a complete shambles of a way to run a business...it's now 8 weeks since they shamefully claimed to be raising £11m via a placing and not one more snippet of news for shareholders.

we can only assume the plan is currently on the "we wish" shelf and the company are too inept to keep its shareholders informed.

can we also assume with the club sinking to the bottom half of the table and the shareprice being so low that the fundraising is on hold...£11m placing and underwritten at current levels in my opinion equates to a takeover.

sold my holding the day after the rns but feel for those still holding.
