Note that the majority of warrants in MILA have an exercise price of 10p, and none have an exercise price of less than 5p.


From MILA's final report for the year end 30.6.18:

"At 30 June 2018, there were warrants and options over 15,825,000 unissued ordinary shares (2017: 15,825,000).

Details of the warrants outstanding are as follows:

But what triggered the initial buying, straight after opening at 8a.m., despite no RNS?

Still up 25% today, at 1.75p, on volume of 3.159M. shares traded.

With just 23 million shares in issue, that's nearly 14% of the company.

And the market cap. is still just £0.4M., well below the company's current cash.

But interestingly, MILA's interim results statement revealed that it was expanding its remit to include other sectors too:

This could be a good move, given that much of the mining sector is in the doldrums
( ... although that does at least depress mining sector RTO target valuations, and makes the RTO route more attractive if the IPO route is partially drying up).

The expansion could well include the technology sector.

In February 2016 a similar shell to MILA, MMO, announced a similar strategy switch from resources to fintech, and the share price multibagged virtually overnight.

Over four months since the interim results, we could be due a MILA update on progress towards a RTO.

This is a main market investment shell, valued at barely a third of a million quid at its current share price of 1.4p, and with £573K. of cash at the interim period end (interim results 29.3.19).

Any hint of a deal could see a strong rerating back upwards.

"Word is" the directors have managed to "preserve" 80% of the invested capital, meaning to date they have only used 20% of funds on silly wages, lunches, dinners, etc.
