Posted at 18/10/2024 06:23 by multibagger Looks like what I thought it would be....Excerpt from RNS: "....The Company also notes comments made in a recent UK Investor Magazine podcast, during which the interviewee indicated a hope for "blockbuster B2B and retail distribution agreements in the coming months." MicroSalt wishes to emphasise these remarks were purely the opinion of the interviewee. The Company re-confirms the statements it provided in its interim results announcement and will make further updates as appropriate in due course...." Looks like someone engineered an exit.....and the company has been forced to respond. |

Posted at 31/5/2024 15:41 by jaknife kiplig,We disagree on numerous issues relating to SALT but I am well aware that many investors need to see "things" happen. Which is why I suggest that we discuss this again in six months, when the next results are out. I forecast: * insignificant growth * immaterial revenue * significant admin costs making the post-tax loss material * an increased share count, probably from the exercise of share warrants * probably enough cash, from the exercise of those share warrants, for there to be enough to continue as a going concern for the next twelves months * net assets in the region of £2m * a lower share price, in the ball park of 60p, possibly lower if the convertible loan has begun to be converted to shares (it's an "at the market" convertible rather than a fixed price one) You don't have to make a forecast if you don't want to but I promise that if you take detailed notes, including of forecasts, then it will be hugely beneficial to your investment journey in the long run. You know this, but are using it as a tool to spook the less sophisticated investors here. When an oil company is developing a huge asset, they prove up value by de-risking, defining resources and reserves. All this is pre-revenue, and incurs costs which are expensed. This is normal. SALT we're crystal clear in stating that they are focusing on landing one of these Fortune 500 companies that they are isndoscussions/trial |

Posted at 02/5/2024 05:36 by kiplig A confident CEO who confirmed that things are going very well, with lots of product testing going on and a macro thematic push driven by governments to reduce sodium intake. We're the only product globally that can achieve this using real salt without all the nasties. Some rough back of the envelope math allows me to generate valuations of over 20x current prices. I don't want to get carried away, and they'll need a few more contracts to validate the attractiveness of this product to stock market investors, but once this happens the stock will bounce hard, in my opinion. |
Posted at 27/2/2024 20:36 by pdt Nothing new in tonights webinar but they were still very upbeat. Just back from a 5 day Food Show in Dubai. I assume it was this one which says it is the world's largest Food event. The advantages for bread were mentioned being both lower in Sodium and quicker to make. Burger buns were given as an example. And the breaded bit of chicken nuggets being high in salt currently. It sounds like progress is being made with the UK Supermarkets. They mentioned being on an online meeting with both the Retailer and the manufacturer (presumably own brand ready meal makers). Kept stressing how easy it was with minimal reformulation. And fielding enquiries about how easy was it to set up manufacturing in Mexico and Poland for example. I think news is coming but they are constrained by needing to fall in line with the PR departments of the big multinationals. Positive but it is going to take time I think to become established I feel. As an investor I am happy to be patient for this one. |
