Distribution Agreement with Stable Arm Sdn. Bhd.

 

Microsaic Systems plc (AIM: MSYS), the developer of point of need mass spectrometry ("MS") instruments, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Stable Arm Sdn. Bhd. ("Stable Arm") to distribute Microsaic's 4500 MiD® MS detector via Stable Arm's extensive distribution network in Malaysia.

 

This distribution agreement complements the recently announced agreement with Rightek and is in line with the Company's strategy to partner with locally based, specialised and established channel partners.

 

Glenn Tracey, CEO of Microsaic, commented, "We are extremely pleased to partner with one of the leading providers of scientific equipment in Malaysia, and further extend our presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Microsaic will be at the most prestigious Mass Spectrometry conference/exhibition in 11 days time, and all the key players will be in attendance , which must include Microsaic's global biopharma partner, "one of the foremost players in the global market for scientific instrumentation"...early news on the deal or any other commercial collaborations in the pipeline could surprise the market at anytime ..Tick Tock....Gla Holders ;-)

Microsaic will be at the American Society of Mass Spectrometry 3 rd -7th June San Diego, less than 4 weeks time, all the movers and shakers will be there, which must include their global biopharma partner, and so maybe an opportune time for an early update on proceedings....H2 2018 fast approaching. Sooner or later Parsons, this is going to go BIG time.......H2 2018 fast approaching.....Sales revenues this year already a head of the whole of 2017, and now the prospect of a significant increase with commercial deals secured in Germany, China and now Taiwan, and a game changer ahead on disclosure of Microsaic's global biopharma partner on successful technology trials, already validated by their partner's BIG pharma end users and on-going systems integration into their partner's product equipment....almost looks like a done deal imho....Gla holders..On and Up!!!;-)

Q1: Microsaic recently announced the signing of a research agreement with a global partner in biopharma, can you tell us a little bit more about that?

A1: Yes, absolutely so Ive got to say that we are under strict NDA in this particular case but what I can do is give you some context. Earlier in the year we successfully completed a significant joint feasibility phase to show dedicated at-line mass spec can assess the quality of biologics during the manufacture.

I think perhaps the most important aspect of that phase was that we had substantial end-user validation from big pharma and just to say that these are end-users whom our partner has very good global reach. What this new phase is it will bring more end-user validation to the approach, but I think the exciting deliverable is that we'll be able to provide a lot more technical integration with the partners product.

So, should this activity be successful, it will take us into the second half of 2018 and then that will proceed a period of productisation. As I said, I can't give any details yet about the size and timeline for commercialisation, but the opportunity is significant to us, to Microsaic, and delivery is proportionate, I would say, to our timescales.

moneymunch yes I agree they could be increasing business at such a pace that they will reach breakeven before they run out of cash. Either way the market cap of £4.35m
looks far too low !!! I bought some more yesterday, this is now becoming one of my largest holdings there has been nothing but positive news since the dire results !!

Microsaic's share price does not seem to lift that much and the price eventually ebbs away after each RNS. Hopefully the gradual build up of new contracts/agreements will have an eventual effect.

13 November 2011: Microsaic Systems, which has developed a miniature chip-based mass spectrometer, has raised £4m ($6.5m) in order to expand its manufacturing capacity. The company will have a market capitalisation of £12m at the placing price of 32p a share.

Quite a long way to go.

They had £3m cash which was confirmed enough working capital until Q1 2019, but they've also confirmed last week that sales revenues to date this year are more than the whole of 2017, and so £1m plus plus looks easily achievable and the recent commercial agreements in Germany, China and now Taiwan can only add to increased sales revenues along with any more deals in the pipeline....and of course we're still awaiting news on the BIG one which is considered a Major and highly significant commercial opportunity for Microsaic, and potentially could be worth many millions imho.....Microsaic could still decide to raise cash for further research and development as they manage their expansion to service and supply their new and existing customer base, but the potential increase in sales revenues suggests that Microsaic are heading in the right direction and are certainly not desperate for cash as a result. Gl :-)

This gets better by the day. Lots of deals going on, the only possible blip is a cash call which could come but the new products and plans look like they are increasing interest. A possible multi-bagger from here !!!!
