Two of the five days, the week before the accounting scandal, had large after close up moves too

No point assessing that until probably next week really ...

As for the positioning. ..

Maybe shorters simply paying a premium to get more shares to short. ..

Maybe orders that will 'disappear'

Little point trying to second guess such things when you can't do much with holdings until morning. See then..

Has anyone got the link from Bloomberg this evening suggesting that there are a number of preditors circling Metro Bank????

Apparently a commentator suggested an increased interest from an established US bank to gain entry into the UK market at distressed levels, establishing a foothold at discount to NAV ????

Is this the reason for the peak at the close of play?

It's being discussed on another BB, I'm trying to source the link, if anyone has it could you please post it

My average position 204.6

When it hits 155 and bounces 2 days to 160..."SR is burning"
