Sold 200 breakeven across the holdings of stocks and spreads. Made nothing

So , just to be clear. You sold at 200p, at a loss (?), and shorted it at 200p?Target? For me that is a ludicrous strategy whatever up think about the takeover 'story'. The money has been made shorting this. Risk reward in the up down side is VERY much on the long position.

I am sure, he would still want to acquire it at the lowest price possible. The backers would be the very same who supported him at 500p. As such. If they were able to take it private at 300p, they effectively average down. I think it is just noise at this stage.The million dollar question, now funding is in place, is when they will return to profitability. Q3 results to clarify that. It does seem cheap for a buyer. But cannot see that happening anytime soon.

That 50k was a buy. Continued buying pressure. If it is shorter trying to manipulate, they are fighting against the tide IMO

Maybe Vernon is simply trying to recover the equity. Once it has recovered some ground (i.e recovered some of the lost money for the big backers) it will be easier to convince them to take it private. The current backers wouldn't mind as they already hold equity so capital appreciation is welcome. I wouldn't be surprised if Vernon starts upping his stake in Metro. That would fuel one big rally if it happens! Is Vernon free to add to his holdings at the moment or is he restricted? I can't see how any institution holding this would be happy for the stock price to be trading at those distressed levels.

ALTN looking strong this morning, about to blow IMO. Nice goldminer, targetting 100,000 ounces of gold PA. funding secured to start ramping up production and CPR's in the works.. Easy multibagger from low levels.. Stock currently very tight.
