to me that 15m is a bit of an act of desperation at this moment in time rather than anything else............ as are the riskier new lending models.............. kind of last throws of the dice - i mean what a time to have riskier lending in the middle of a pandemic, furloughs ending soon, for those that rent that help ending or has just ended and high risk of a third wave taking off then whatever happens after that............ given there are much worse things than covid out there yet to arrive what would happen if one of them get here................

as i said yesterday what else do they have to sell but dont think anyone answered so didnt expand further for those behind the curve here :-) - do keep up - always best to be ahead of the game - however 15m not gonna go far especially with interest payments on you know what + other stuff - not quite the time for a quite yet but maybe

Nice - £15M back in the coffers

Metro Bank announces that it has today completed the disposal of the RateSetter car dealer finance loan portfolio (the "Portfolio") to LE Capital UK (Asset 1) Limited. The Portfolio had an aggregate book value of GBP15m and formed a non-core part of the RateSetter back book acquired by Metro Bank on 2 April 2021.

needed a few million from somewhere for the next bonus round

They might double that bonus if share price falls another 40% on his watch
