3rd July 20 Daniel Frumkin (new CEO) buy's 500k shares at £1.14 each = £570k

10th August 20 Non Exec Director buys 15000 shares at £1.04.

Worth remembering also that that 17th May 19 , oversubscribed Placing at £5 per share.

And agreed with fact that we do not see directors - Insiders buying at these lows is a positive news ... something is getting cooked and they are now allowed to move 1 inchIMHO

Metro should be one of the very few UK Banks that will not suffer much from a no Brexit deal... Easily they could switch off a branch (once they have attracted most customers) to re-open one in an area which is not coveredMetro banks customers become very soon full digital as street banks are great to attract new customers.. but then we can reduce cost and duplicate the operation elsewhereThe +2.1 Mu Metro Customers are not the richest UK Customers... fair enough .. but Government secures their salaries versus the high income customers.. another data that shows that Metro Bank was not impacted as much as historical banks and can explain why their deposits are still very strong. Am I too optimistic or just realistic ?

Due to heavy demand, Metro has this morning suspended any new business account applications until the new year.

Huge demand from businesses switching their accounts from RBS.

Take a look at this link. This is still the 4th most shorted stock on the market with 7.9% of the stock lent out to short sellers.

They will now be under pressure as the share price rises.

Expect a squeeze and a pop upwards in the share price

Very strong upward pressure now.

This has been heavily shorted over the past year but I suspect that many of those hedge funds are rushing to close those shorts now.

Level 2 looking strong again.

I see a breakout through 70p , quickly pushing 80p.

I'm up 15% on my buy at the beginning of the week.

Hard to imaging that in March 2018 this was circa £40 per share.
Indeed there was a placing at £34 in July 2018 plus a placing at £5 in May 2019.

The new CEO acquired over £500k worth of shares at £1.14 per share in only July this year !
