A little annoyed today as got too heavy into Drax and Friday movement scared me. Reduced by 95% my holding at 216.6p today only to see close at 222p.
That said was right thing to do.

Quarter invested at moment, doesn’t sit well with me but picking companies on the basis of cash reserves and balance sheet. Quarter enables me to go in with a bit more if price falls to attractive levels. Just had to bite the bullet.

Play the easier stuff for now. Don't bother trying to catch the downturn .

Make money in other areas and then double your buying deep into a crash.

I believe you are completely right.
The saddest thing is deep down everyone knows it’s coming but just doing the complete opposite.
Anyone see the queues outside a certain retailer today, how does operating like that become economical?
Restaurants need to do 60 covers per night to break even inline with historic trade but under new safety requirements can only do 20. Only thing thereafter is to cut costs (staff and adding to unemployment) or go out of business.

After watching markets for 25 years, I have to say, this is the most extreme disconnect I have ever witnessed with regards to price against P/E, massive unemployment and drop in GDP, riots, failing trade wars, frauds, income inequality, etc.


There has always been reliance on FED to save things and they try but in the end, it always blew up. This one is going to be EPIC.

I think it's either 2005 or 2010, many investors & bankers saw signs & asked China flat out if they were about to suddenly appreciate Yuan. China said "no", even published full page ad in NYT saying "no"; days after, Yuan appreciated big time.
