What time is trump on?

Told cops to go harder on protesters so I doubt it will be very pleasant

Don't have to play indices long pione

There are thousands of other instruments .

The market crash scream is obvious. .the timing difficult ..so why bother?

But when it does come. ..everyone is going to be buying those pullback, waiting feds again..and they won't be there

Could be a monumental moment is about to occur. If it isn’t brief and he takes questions then something he says may cause offence.
I hope he can deescalate this.

Yes I don't think it would be a fair comparison on FEDs actions in late 1920 to todays...very different era...but the Depression era gets used in speeches...

bumhole

Positions were declared, all targets met except Nat Gas and Tesco. Whilst you and SR keep screaming "crash coming". It will come when you're not ready.

Further positions,

Long Natural Gas (Jun-20) right now 1710, target 2000 stop loss 1600

Long Tesla $816, target $900 stop loss $750

Long Tesco 223, target 242 no stop loss

Short Gold (Jun-20) 1754, target 1700 no stop loss

Short Netflix $430, target $388 stop loss $465

Now I'm going to switch off till I don't get alerts of targets met or stop loss

Can only think of two people who would have been great for that. Both dead now. History books lack the feel of the moment .

100 years time, investors will look at today's stats etc... but not truly get it

Anyone done any detailed analysis of FEDs actions in late 1920’s and subsequent impact on stock exchange leading up to the Depression?
Times like this I wish I’d been a history graduate. I’m sure liquidity measures were used.

Waiting for Trump statement in next 5mins.
Will he ad-lib?
I certainly wouldn’t, stick to script.
Going off script could have serious implications. He needs to show empathy, and support and unwind these disturbances.

DYOR.
FED have fuelled stock market speculation but without real output there must surely be a market correction. I strongly believe that everyone truly knows this, especially the enlightened ones on this board, and it’s just a matter of time.

For bitcoin lovers..

Starter taking huge interest in bitcoin now..

PwC estimates that global money laundering is $1-$2 trillion per year.

According to CNBC, the United Nations estimates that the global drug trade is worth $400-$500 billion per year, and that organized crime in general clocks in at $800-$900 billion, with much of that figure coming from their drug trafficking.

Most broadly of all, this research paper estimates that the global black market is equal to about 20% of global GDP, or about $15 trillion annually.

If we imagine right now that 10% of the global black market economic activity occurs in Bitcoin and nobody else uses Bitcoin, it would mean $1.5 trillion in goods/services is exchanged Bitcoin per year, which would be immense.

Going back to the Bitcoin = T/(M*V) equation, if M is 17 million bitcoins in existence, and we use V as 10, and T is $1.5 trillion, then each bitcoin should be worth about $8,800. Let’s call that an unrealistic high end estimate.

If T is $500 billion and V is 10, then each bitcoin is worth under $3,000.
If T is $100 billion and V is 10, then each bitcoin is worth under $600.
If T is $10 billion and V is 10, then each bitcoin is worth under $60.

Yes the FEDs interference with markets so regularly during every crisis is no longer a free market...and those handful of Fang shares worth over 1 trillion dollar each is another distortion...

There has always been reliance on FED to save things and they try but in the end, it always blew up. This one is going to be EPIC

All crash 50%+ most likely down the road

I'm buying but not holding much long.

I see buy side as risky as short side at the moment. Indices

Quarter invested at moment, doesn’t sit well with me but picking companies on the basis of cash reserves and balance sheet. Quarter enables me to go in with a bit more if price falls to attractive levels. Just had to bite the bullet.
