When the shxt hits the fan, whether panic sets on as realisation sets in that lockdown is longer and they’re not getting on top of it, or they bring in temp lockdowns and the whole position manifests, or defaults, then it will be difficult to step off the ride down.

Frightening the amount of money they’ve thrown at the markets, Bonds, ETFs and next Equities. Liquidity following large scale sell offs and switch must have been totally fkd.
Kathy is correct they’ve created a false market, and the greed has followed. Sat in and loving their own perpetual shxt.
The problem they have is that the good old SME, remember makes up 67% of American Business, needs the cash desperately/right now but they can’t get access to it. A large balance has been absorbed straight away by large corporates and Banks are reluctant to lend. Only 3% of those SMEs up to yesterday have been able to get a decision. Parameters continue to change and only the extremely profitable are getting an agreement in principal. Turnaround times, like ourselves (CBILS) is impossible, you only have so many people in a credit department. The whole system is fkd so therefore get ready for mass defaults and insolvencies.

SO given another 6.6m jobless claims today, IMF saying things worse than ever..... it seems FED is more powerful for propping up markets. What tips the balance?

As Smartie said earlier..

I could have doubled or tripled my money but instead I was doing shorting and doing trading with indices.

It’s tough to oppose FED and still I’m doing short.

I hope sense will prevail at the end

That’s why central bank all over the world are pumping money into ETF.

Germany has started buying equities too.

It's like a mass co-ordinated good news pump today!!! "The euro has risen to its highest level today after Germany’s finance minister, Olaf Scholz, said it appeared that the EU would reach a deal on an economic support package."

But how exactly does this money pumping equate to equity markets rising?
Stim is not buying equities directly, so what is the intermediary being pumped that is driving equities?

Yes Kathy,

That’s right.

Tax hike.

Less spending.

Inflation will shoot up. But this is a subject for debate..
