Smart Smartie,

I noticed the pattern yeah.

Metro should rise.. I was thinking of going long and do trade but then I shorted DOW back.

SR

There's a few giveaways for that backtest theory/regime which I don't want to give too much away on a free bb .

It's about a few correlations I use .

I think you're right to run it but be aware

GL all

If you're running this watch for a backtest or trail it with plenty of space

They’re definitely pumping it. Last Thursday and Friday everyone was talking of the end of the world. Now S&P will hit 3600 by year end.

Interesting one today, Cineworld up 33%. Even if they reopen in 3.5months time who is going to want to go to the cinema unless you have of course your own booth.

Anyone believe USA Coronavirus death rate of 95?
Doesn’t look quite right given over a thousand yesterday.

Just listening to a few businesses now.
Taking on more debt to cover a 4months period. Have come to an agreement with landlords to change way they pay, monthly in arrears rather than quarterly and add to end payment terms. Loans taken over 24months. 12months free of interest with a 6months payment holiday. Balloon payments thereafter. 80% Govt coverage.

So everyone ready to short DOW ?

My best guess today 5-6% up and then crash late today or tomorrow...

Peak sometime next week for me.
Won’t come down quickly thereafter either. Should see 4weeks before we see a decent reduction. Still believe we’re looking at a total of 4months lockdown.

Banks are a pile of crud. This is the perfect storm for them

2008 drove the likes of lloyds from 300-400 ranging , to say 40 to 80 ranging for over a decade

this year will do same

create new low ranges in banks

IF QE and low rates doesnt end in the next recession, thats another 10-15 years for banks at their new range home

I’ve been dipping in and out over the last week but protecting capital as I go along. Not too heavily involved and happy to make a few hundred/thousand pounds here and there. Having watched Bank shares so closely over the last 2years more than aware how Metro tends to move, so occasionally dip in where I sense a slight upside. Anticipating a bit of a move later today on Metro. Holding cash again having made £5k this morning from yesterday’s buy in. Not trying to be too greedy. No significant move from this mornings position when i sold, other than VMUK.
