Considering the FTSE 100 is 5500 instead of 7500 then the Ftse 100 is a very good place to invest for the future!

Well , what are you depending on to stop a ftse rut? Stimulus?

I don't know. But certainly everything is against it anyway

I want to hold SR because I think 5500 is a good area to hold because I'm very uncertain where the FTSE 100 is going but it is probably going down but I don't know that it is so 5500 is a good area for the future, If the FTSE 100 does tank then I think I can bring it back trading it on that third in cash, it might be a stupid call on my part but I have great faith in myself as a trader to do it and correct my mistakes!
