Have to admit, your tips are solid. If they don't work out, breakeven. You're super cautious and calculated.

I didn't have that when I got into MTRO chasing takeover rumours.

Spread yes. ISA was limiting my trades due to capital. That NMC trade changed me. With spread I've made decent returns with small size. But I've been very cautious.

Learned hell lot from you SR. I will contribute heavily on your forum once ready.

In essence, a spread is about circa 15/18% extra profit for same movement. .but only if u apply the above rationale

Because extra risk nulls the tax incentives if u don't apply the risk management same as holding (outside day trades )

Spreads I treat like a share or, fixed risk trades

If in hold mode, the move of share price in a holding will equate to the exact same monetary amount in a spread

Spreads fine too. As long as u get your calculator out and treat percentage moves the same as capital Etf movement . Then, tax free and safe
