01/4/2020 17:49 | The floated, raised £1m. Their story is growth in retail partnerships. Nice looking website. Genuine sounding products. But very little reporting or news flow on sales growth. RNS regularly about another X stores stocking the products. Or some fancy research about how good the product is. But silent on the revenue growth. No mention of marketing initiatives. No mention of retailers reordering. I haven't even looked, but I know the AIM scam model..... so can anyone confirm whether my guess is accurate? | ![]() idoflykathy

01/4/2020 17:37 | These numbers demonstrate a website with zero consumer interest. The last time that Opti spent money on display ads was in 2018. They are not spending any money on promoting their products. So why in their right might does anyone think that a consumer is going to buy a product because it is sat on the shelf of a retailer? Retail doesn't work like that. The brand gets given shelf space. The brand has to promote it's products to consumers to raise awareness. If they don't, no one buys. Retailer does not replenish stock. Eventually retailer ditches them. Now I haven't even gotten this far, but I bet Opti don't announce all the retailers that churn, or the ones that don't replenish. I bet all they do is announce "another shelf space signed up!!!!"..."Jam tomorrow everyone"...but I also know that the only metric increasing is number of "partners signed"...but sales are dead and not growing. | ![]() idoflykathy
