since 2008, institutions were backing QE etc. There wasnt 1% confidence in the system itself, or banking and so on

as soon as something came along that could beat false market creation, 2008 hangover came to the fore like a shot

2008 showed weaknesses that could never be corrected in capitalism

QE etc was to paper over that
