15/12/2019 09:01 | If you look at this. .. it's not been a typical time frame of quite building. It's been fast. I'm convinced there has been decent buyers too around 260-280. Which is a good sign of the eventual offer price or push you may get. Maybe the Colombian isn't a takeover one at all. Maybe he believes another will be. And as it goes he maybe already has 300p bagged on that buy (if say offer is to be 350). Usual | sentimentrules
15/12/2019 08:55 | Assured if I catch it. . Il be out 1 to 48 hours later. Depends what's under the gap and if holds | sentimentrules
15/12/2019 08:51 | Better value elsewhere meaning, they have growth potential after offers etc. I don't think metro has. Any offer plus maybe 10-20% gerbil buy push on top of that offer price . . Is top value A fast return type | sentimentrules
15/12/2019 08:48 | But yes sure. If I was doing an intstitutional style building here, I'd just keep buying the dips. No probs But a lot more stocks in the world than metro as you know. That style I see better value elsewhere for it | sentimentrules
15/12/2019 08:45 | I don't know about futile pione short and then long has bagged nearly 40%. Not bad but also not the end goal alright. I thought that 180 was the bullish sign too. I felt that changed Friday. They want one more slap at a much lower price. In stocks like this , it's why I try to pick out 30-50% short/long, before a move. If the move never comes (misread), or it tanks again, got it covered | sentimentrules
15/12/2019 05:40 | SR. 180 region on Thu was a bullish sign. This is where you and another technical analyst differ. He suggests p1 stage was paused due to election and GBP/USD. It will resume in a week or two and share price will go up this time due to volume acceleration. There will be multiple pauses in both p1 and p2 stages depending on negotiation between various parties and geopolitical changes. Trying to forecast MTRO share price movements in between is futile. | pione3r
15/12/2019 02:29 | Ah the disease is back. Find a cure yet? | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 22:22 | Things could be looking up. I've just been reading about the new cash pick up and delivery service. I've used this ( not Metro obviously) in my business for lodgements and find it useful. | xtomo
14/12/2019 21:51 | MTRO Metro Bank Time to be greedy is now in my opinion. No one wanted VMUK at 102-110p and whos laughing now? It had all the algo patterns. No one wanted PETS at 98p region citing bust on property etc and TOP SHORTED stock now near 300p! (2x Bagger) No one wanted OCDO now multi baggers And of course GLEN and AAL No one wants Metro Bank at 155p-200p do they right? Couldnt blast past the 280p region spike on the rumour from Evening Standard right? Theres me saying 400-600p but lets be realistic gents if a buyer comes in before July 2020 they could snap this up DIRT CHEAP region fairly quickly. 2m customers (almost) New stores Substantial DIGITAL strategy being played Cost cutting products Bacal Billionaire taken off US Sellers CEO booted out Awaiting FCA - final piece. 14/12/2019 20:59 | The continued silence of VH, Cohen and Bacal seems very telling in my opinion. Not a single interview or comment on MTRO by VH since resigning as chairman. Not a single comment from Cohen since offloading stake, if this was business as usual you'll expect some general comment from the fund on portfolio positioning. Bacal has said nothing also, again when you acquire 6.1% of a high profile UK bank if its business as usual then a general comment on the investment rationale is normal (think Warren Buffet). And then we have now gone through the longest stretch I think on record with no director buys, despite record low share price and release of positive Q3 results. Then CEO has suddenly been removed, while chairman hasnt been replaced despite them searching since the summer. Interim Chairman, Interim CEO, Intetim Senior Non exec director all at once. What's going on??? | skrr223
14/12/2019 18:28 | Pione... I think if Mr Cufflinks was on the ball re January, a very bullish sign would be for this to drop into xmas. It would nearly confirm it in my book. It's all about finding the lowest share price value possible, but not so greedy that you miss the break lol Sub 180 in December would make me a jolly buyer again | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 18:22 | Never seen him disappear for so long. He must have left Redcar in case you find him. Thumbing a lift to Sunderland | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 18:07 | i guess he has bottled it again | fxprotrader
14/12/2019 18:06 | Could be the case. Certainly wouldn't short it again. | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 18:02 | In Evening Standard, that man with "chunky cufflinks" said takeover in new year. It was laughable back then. But now the pieces are coming together slowly. | pione3r
14/12/2019 17:15 | But it's a fine ditto art in distribution too lol Just not clear enough yet..but yes..need to be before any big move obviously | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 17:14 | Good accumulation rarely moves SP | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 17:13 | pione3r14 Dec '19 - 14:36 - 24194 of 24196 0 0 0 SR. Would you say Cohen and Bacal traded off the market to reduce the impact on SP? Further accumulation may not increase share price until takeover bid? .... Highly possible. | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 14:45 | Looking through some truly pathetic stocks and volumes, acc/dis etc, Metro basically got the same election trade money in as many of those. Finance sector particularly Not going to know the truth until around Wednesday. .once the smart money is back in control. A lot of retail money was pumping into most stocks last week. Needs a few days to settle and see reality | sentimentrules
14/12/2019 14:38 | Thursday rise was clearly not another short attack. It was definitely accumulation. Friday was a complete pause. But not the end. Hope movement starts next week. | pione3r |
