The smallest market cap ever today.
Well done to the management.
I expect the few that go to the AGM will be buying them drinks and telling them to keep up the good work.

it sure is hard work investing in AIM.
Even when you think you have timed it right you find out different.
Has this been played like fiddle? i just dont know.
i cant see any point to have dropped this from 5p to as low as they took it this morning. What point was giving last weeks RNS full of bad news if its not bad news.
The share price was on its knees at 4.5p.
You only have to look at the buy volume against sells today and ask yourself why the share price has dropped.
Anyway good luck with your investments.

Taken a bit more, looks like someone else has too quite a chunk, will wait to see what the next two weeks brings before adding more

PpThis risk is always with any investment, in particular AIM.I sometimes buys in on timing of expected news on positive progress, but that does not transpire then I re-evaluate my holding. If you can buy and hold regardless of negative news or delays, then fine. But I just did not want to hold my money here with the risks and potential delays on the last update.Like I said if the news is good, then I will happy to be 5 or 6p again and hold.Chin up

i agree, that large buy by the NED and all those share bought at 5p.
but i am not risking buying anymore.
but at this price its got to be worth new investors taking a risk.
good luck

that poster that came on here called Sleveen had the right idea.
Wait and see, you can always buy in after the news if its good.
Look at the facts, if it spikes at open on a good RNS even up one pence from here to
4.5p would be a good price.
i can see this hitting a new low before we get any news from the company.
I dont think they will even say if they have or have not made that payment thats due.
they could have said what the finances were in that last RNS if they had wanted to.

To buy more now would just be gambling on there being no dilution and good news.
i am not risking another penny until i see what happens.
i keep having to cover my margin as it is.
good luck

I just don't know the answers to any of the more obvious questions. I'm slightly inclined to take comfort from the non-exec purchase-but not alot.

they should have shown him the door before now.
Most chairman get away with murder in an AIM company,as its very hard for PI'S to get them removed. That is not the case here with the company being owned by just a few people.
If things dont improve soon the chairman and a few other will not be around for much longer in my opinion.
How long do you keep putting up with failure.?

I don't believe the seller is still around, this is nervous PI's jumping after last weeks news, the company will be in a closed period so not expecting any director buys, can't make my mind up whether to sell something else to take a chunk more or wait to see what the next two weeks bring, if they make the payment next week which to be honest I think they will, it means they have played down the current situation for whatever reason political or tax year etc.

I won't repeat that well known buffet adage but decisions, decisions.

This is in free fall on no volume.
I dont expect to hear any comment from the company as they are as use full as a chocolate tea pot.
Around £200m spent to get a market cap now of £75m.
I would sack them and get people in who are capable of doing the job.
As this lot are not capable as is easy to see.

Lord BHear hear. Any reasonable argument and debate that existed on this thread has been diluted through inane drivel, mostly posted by PeterPowell. It is truly a shame as previously we could share well sourced insights and informed views. Peter, please, if you feel the urge to post, do so on another board.

peterpowell, you are a blight upon this thread. A blot upon its otherwise informed and reasoned landscape. Your inane witterings add no value to the debate. They are like white noise from a radio; random, devoid of meaning and extremely irritating.

On this thread at least, the sum total of your input is zero. You feed off the comments, opinions and research of others. You regurgitate the same without regard for context or chronology, and in doing so turn informed comment and reasoned argument into complete and utter gibberish.

I love democracy and free speech but you are a compelling argument for censorship and, dare I say, eugenics.

A bit of rain and £25m wiped of the share price.
People then start to look for another problem.
will there be more dilution.
will el president close all the mines, and put 1.2 million of his people out of work.

we were told that we are not affected by the mine closures.

but giving only half a story does not help.

Mining and processing operations are ramping up slower than had been expected and this is almost entirely due to a prolonged period of incessant rainfall and other factors which have restricted the effective mining of waste materials.

So what are the "other factors"
those two word had more to do with the large drop than anything else.
why just not say what these other factors are.Why even mention them.
Are they small factors.
You see the AIM market like two little words like,"other things" it gives them an excuse to drop the share price even more.
The market dont like uncertainty, and those two words gave it to them.
So in the future the management need to not give half an excuse, leaving the other half open to interpretation.

Was it a rushed RNS?,
Well it was very short and lacking full facts.
but they must be rushed of there feet, with all the work that is going on around them.
Almost one million wiped of the market cap for every word in that RNS.

Thank,

It is sure a hard place investing in any AIM company.
I plan on sitting it out and seeing how it goes.
I cant see a total ban.
Miners need to respect the land, They seem to have got away with a lot over the years.
But you cant punish the good ones if they are doing all and more than they have to.
time will tell.
