Thanks Achilles. I would feel a bit of a fraud phoning them up considering I just bought in this year but just to clarify considering what has happened in the past year shareholders are well past due some sort of progress update. Don't know if the numbers on the RNS's are accurate.

Its nice to see that companies can mine responsibly if they have to.
We all want to make money,the locals want the work,the government needs the taxes.
But you have to look after the environment.
Governments do also need to understand that it costs a lot of money to look after the environment,They could do there part by cutting the tax to these companies,to help them look after the lands.Both party's need to pull there weight in this regard.

I have no idea, the real spread is about 0.3%, to buy 100K 0.0475 to sell goes to market best indicative 0.04765 ???, suggests the mm's have plenty of stock so probably going to drop the ask, but who knows, i just know with the target recovery rates and given we have had no bad news, it's cheap just need a market update some time this quarter.

Ppl who asked about the mine closures . MTL are in a good place environmentally . They are not in the list or watershed areas.

you would think at 5p they would be buys,but they could be sells from the seller.
Like everything to do with AIM they are good at keeping us in the dark.
Like the 5.2m late trades reported yesterday from friday at 5p. who knows if they were buys or sells.

Looks like West MM took the million sell. He is one of the 3 MMs selling at 5p now Not sure who sold the 2 million at 5p.. no indication

almost 2 months since NED bought those shares, long enough for it not to be called insider trading. lol.
i was reading an article from the 29 November, the headline read.
"Metals Exploration turning corner at Runruno; makes first gold sale"

I have to say, its a bloody long corner.

10p is my initial target if the RNS we are expecting is released.I think the seller needs to done before news will out . It should not be like that but that is how I have seen it before in another couple of shares

Perhaps people buying in realising that this is a rather unique situation where news could take the share price to 15p overnight and placing their bets accordingly? Correct me if anyone sees it differently but they most be mining and producing a great amount of gold at this moment in time?

Good to see level thinking on this now, I know I'm a late investor which is just luck that I haven't been through the mill like some longer term investors, but surely any one at a loss can see it's time to buy, averaging down works as long as it's not a never ending spiral, and MTL isn't, it's taken the normal path by developing mines, raising cash dilutes early investors, but the hard work is done, a splendid job of it too, time to reap the rewards, I'm only a semi smart business man who likes an opportunity and jumps in when I feel it's right, always worked for me and I'm 50 this year, with 5 experts giving it the thumbs up in Money week just gives me extra confidence I have taken a sensible punt, MTL is off most people's radar, so is a little dull but I like that, Aim is more like a gamblers paradise with ramping and scaremongering new investors into feeble stocks, price movements that are crazy and only a few make money, usually them doing the ramping and scaremongering, some will wait to see the facts, I understand that, I'm pleased they do, that's how we get movement when news is released, but I like to read between the lines and get in early, good luck all

To put it another way, it looks like that the next ops RNS is surely going to confirm that production is going to be up near the 100k ounce level considering commercial production started in September and that back in December ops were ramping up soundly now two and a half months ago baring any more disasters. The share price will spike big time due to the way this news has been managed imo but I don't think that's intentional. Hard not to see why 15p wouldn't be at least the price if that level of production is confirmed.
