they seem to be dropping the price to get buys.
225,000 at 5.30p was a buy.
so someone must be still selling in the back ground.
expect a drop soon.

seems funny how we got that RNS on the 29th and they hit the market first thing with a 500,000 sell followed by the 1m at the end of the day.
there is never large volume here, so it seems it may have been done to hold the share price down.why is beyond me. But this is AIM, no rules and give out news when you fancy.

if the company wanted to move the share price up they could.
they could have given how much gold was sold.
Also could give an idea how close they are to full production.
so holding the share price down and holding news back.
they seem not to be in any rush to move this share price up at this time.
maybe they are waiting for a new year.
well i intend on being in here for a few years, so they can take as long as they like, i can wait.

No insignificant but dropped them below 10% hence the RNS, probably just one of Ruffers clients trimming their portfolio, was hoping it was going to be

"MTL are pleased to announce that the plant is now operating at through capacity, over the past few weeks we have gradually ramped up production. During the month of November we produced and sold $7.5ml of dore and are now operating at optimum levels and achieving throughput of $2.25mill (at present gold prices) per week.

Our creditors are happy with the progress we have achieved over the past few months and the debt rescheduling is now finalised.

Can't be that far off now

well its not many but takes them under the 10% they have to declare at.
just a few more that can be taken by pi's.
can't understand why they are selling even a few at this time.
might have been to pay for the Christmas party.
lol

So Ruffer went from 10.06% to 9.98% a change of 0.08%.
After last placing there are 2,071,334,586 shares in issue, 0.08% of which is 1,657,067 shares - £91k at 5.5p. Hardly of much significance.

So that tells us who sold 1.5m.
but who bought the 81m in the last placing?

nice price, it seems there are only a few of us in the know about this company.
it happens sometime, i keep looking to see if i have missed something.

the management never seem to over RAMP any RNS, but as there are very few PI's there is no need.
when they use words like "Mining and processing operations are ramping up soundly".
they seem very relaxed about things.

well i am relaxed, just a matter of waiting.
good luck

if you have enough its a wise move sometimes not to top up more on dips.
i have been guilty of doing just that over the years, to find out that whats one has been told has been a lie in the end.

i take comfort here though with the fact that 80% of this company is in the hands of just a few investors.

but like you after today i am now at my peak here.
just a case of wait and see how this pans out now.
good luck

Would have taken some more today but got too many as it is, just nonsense dropping on that single sell.

well i would say they get an update every week.
but really that is price sensitive info so should be given to the market first.
but as we know, this is AIM and rules and regulations mean nothing.
PI's, we never get to play on a level playing field.Last to get the good or bad news.

This will start moving when we have some figures RNs'd, I would imagine the major shareholders get a weekly update on production and sales. Might be worth trying to find an email address for one of the Candy's and sending an email nothing to lose.

lets just remind our self what we actually have here.
at full production we should be turning over $2.25m a week.

the company could have given us some indication on how close to full production we are, 50-60-70-80%.

with having so much of the shares held by a few, they seem not interested in the other 20% who hold.
one of the disadvantages having the company in the hands of so few.

back to sleep now.

i read last week that Petropavlovsk have agreed to a new repayment schedule on there debt. But still has to sign off the final details.
There share price seems to have moved ahead on just this news.

we on the other hand were informed, The documents finalising a rescheduling of the debt facility is nearly complete and it is planned that the agreement will be inked before the end of 2016.
Also, made its first gold sale from the Runruno mine.
if that was not enough we had this at the same time, Mining and processing operations are now ramping up soundly.

i know we have been told the debt refinancing was going to be completed for the last three months. But the fact that gold sales have now began, and the plant is ramping up to full production should have been enough to move the share price north not south.
this may be just the drop before the rise, but with not many pi's you are not going to shake many shares out these holders hands.

i was just going to post the same.
i would hazard a guess that the mm.s have enough stock of these now and will take any off you now only at a bargain price.
can these get much cheaper.
i have again topped up at this price.
just a case of waiting for the news and the tide to turn
ps
they were only offering 5.40p to sell all day yesterday.

They seem to be dropping the price on any small sales.
Well they will be moving it up on small buys very soon.

i was just looking at what kind of volume there was on the way up to the 10p spike.
it was actually very low.
in fact there was more volume on the day of the last RNS.
so i think this will just need the news to get a good rise.

i agree but most companies dilute and get nowhere.
how there was no rise on the company selling gold, and starting to get cash positive
is beyond me.
but its only a matter of time.
the profit margin here is fantastic.
re-rate is a question of when not if.
i never look at the share price when buying, i am more interested in the market cap and the debt.

peterpowell21

The company has suffered a number of setbacks over the years though and dilution so sentiment is very poor, I think as soon as the debt has been rescheduled, plant is working to full parameters and we get figures backing up the gold pours and sales we should be off to the races.
