yep last time they dropped the mid an RNS landed, the 70,000 @ 5.78 and the 100,000 just now at 5.7 were both my buys.

seems strange that they are dropping the price when 100% of the shares over the last 2 days were buys. the price to sell was 5.50p - 5.55p. all buys showing red but they were buys.i was watching the live prices.
not long for some kind of news to be released.

You will note that Baker Steel did to participate in the last placing. One can only make inferences from what is in the public domain. Politics in the Philippines is particularly sensitive. The company has indicated we should get further news this month.

i would find it strange if baker steel were to sell now after holding so long and the the fruits of metel ex is just going to start paying out.
it would be a very strange thing to do.

i gather it's going swimmingly on the ground with next RNS likely to bring news on ramp up in production, probably next week. I guess they also have the license to sell the gold but have to cope with a little local difficulty over actually announcing it because of political sensitivity. The new mystery institution, which participated in the last placing wants to buy more stock and is likely to get it from Baker Steel, who have suffered from redemptions. Relaxez vous mes amis. I believe all the wrinkles will soon be ironed out.

well they dont need to hold the share price down now.
but with very few pi's there is no volume.
so we just have to wait for news to move the share price up.
i just hope they come one at a time.

to be honest i never knew you had to have a permit to sell gold.
but when it does come they will have plenty to sell.
could be a nice pre-christmas present just round the corner.

Wasn't referring MM's manipulating, it just appears that every time the share price was due a tick up a large delayed sell would come through, can't see many pi's selling the large amounts that have been going through for the past few weeks rather than waiting a month or two for the permit, unless they got in on the dip Sept 15.
Assumed it was a large holder dumping a few into the market to meet demand and keep the share price level for the placing.

i have over 1000 pounds a pip on my spread bet account.
the margin on that is high,and the amount i have to have in my account to cover a margin call if we get a shake or some bad news is high.
it is risky spread betting but i just think this is worth the risk.
i did think that we would get some dilution, so i waited to go in big hoping we would get a dip if dilution came which as you know it did.
actual shares in my account i only have just over 200,000.
with most shares in the hands of a few II's, i just dont think you get the same manipulation as when its just pi's.
anyway i cant see it dropping much below 5p anyway.

i have to agree with you(yet again).
i keep adding to my spread bet, i cant help myself.
i keep saying that enough but i keep going back for more.

Fully funded. tick
producing gold. tick.
full production soon. tick.
great profit margin. tick.
debt financing almost sorted.tick.
80% of shares owned by II's. tick.
total capital spend on the construction of the Project $206,780,475. total amount of debt $83m.
i just cant see whats not to like.
no one seems to know about it, so is under the radar.
i just cant see any down side here.
MM's cant really manipulate it as most shares are in II's hands.
so we few holders that post on this BB will do very well here imo.
well i dont know if i want news monday or not. more chance to top up again.

Yep it was the 0000.2p which swung it, was hoping for a large sell to come through as has been the norm over the past weeks up to the equity placing, funny that almost as if the share price was being manipulated to keep the equity price at 5p.

Well that's me done now that was my last top up baring any disasters or out of season weather will just sit back for the next 12 months when we should have a market cap exceeding 500m.

well they seem to keep any news close to there chest.
but as you say, gold is being stock piled, i would say they have about $10m now waiting to be sold.
seems that nothing is being priced in till news is released.
when you look at sound oil with a market cap of £520m this looks very cheap with a M/C of £119m.

i would be worried here if we were just sitting around having to wait for the permit not making money, just burning it.

you would think that considering we employ around 600 locals,they would pull there fingers out and supply us with the permit.
anyway i am happy to sit here and wait for the news to drop.

i have a feeling we will be above 10p by new year.
fingers crossed.

Yes this should be nearer 10p with gold being stock piled as we speak.

well i was just looking at the amount of molybdenum that they expect to get out the ground here as well.

25.5m lbs.
well at todays price ($6.92 lb)that would be worth around $176m for the life of the mine.
not bad for a by product.

Well i just decided to put a large spread bet on here as well as my normal holdings.
I would be kicking myself if i never risked it.
In my opinion this is a very undervalued share, time will tell.
fortune favours the brave they say.
