07/4/2023 07:59 | asx is useless...worst prices anywhere..HAS and MIO examples | iceagefarmer
07/4/2023 07:48 | Here’s some background on why the move to asx was made. Essentially copper is a fairly sound investment and should support metal tiger/Stratas share price. The spread will narrow. Good to see the board buying 150,000 shares even if not full market price. This will need time for the valuation to stabilise upwards. Hopefully the board have a plan that has been restricted by AIM and will be able to action it. | aqc888

03/4/2023 10:18 | I'd be keen to hear about anyone's trading experiences now the move to ASX has happened. It has been hardly trading down under! | wsm812
30/3/2023 10:44 | Now the beast has awoken, investors realising the easy win once this stock has switched. | wsm812
28/3/2023 17:09 | Every time I read up on Copper, I start licking my chops re the value on offer here. | catabrit
28/3/2023 15:16 | Told it not to be so vague and got this: However, there are a number of factors that could support MTR's share price. The company has a strong balance sheet and is well-positioned to take advantage of opportunities in the mining sector. Additionally, the company has a number of projects that are in the early stages of development, which could generate significant returns in the future. | wsm812
28/3/2023 15:13 | I asked BARD to predict if MTR will trade higher once solely on ASX - a very non-commital answer is below: Based on the search results I have found, it is difficult to predict whether MTR will trade higher on the ASX. The company's stock price has been on a downward trend in recent months, but there are a number of factors that could affect its future performance, such as the strength of the global economy, the price of gold, and the company's own business decisions. Some analysts believe that MTR is undervalued and that its stock price could rebound in the near future. Others believe that the company is facing challenges that could continue to weigh on its stock price. Ultimately, it is up to investors to decide whether they believe MTR is a good investment. | wsm812
27/3/2023 11:06 | To clarify my post, it's the last trading day for Hargreaves Lansdowne clients. Sorry for the misleading info. | wsm812
27/3/2023 10:17 | Isn't last day of trading the 30th and delisting on 31st? The AIM Cancellation will take place at 7.00 am on 31 March 2023. On this basis, the last day of trading of the Shares on AIM will be 30 March 2023. | gb904150
27/3/2023 09:13 | Last day to trade MTR in UK - MMs reaping the reward of scared/ignorant UK sellers. Do not be one of them. The ASX MMs are also cashing in, trading range is 0.18-0.40 (spread of 55%!) FYI 0.18c is equivalent to 9.5p and 0.40c = 22p. Hang in there and do not line the pockets of greedy MMs. | wsm812
24/3/2023 12:22 | Thanks Chara. That's helpful. | catabrit
24/3/2023 12:21 | I don't think it was related to the poor market value. It could have been a combination of factors. We know that MTR were looking at a Main Market listing on the LSE in the SFS segment. That would have allowed them to ditch the NOMAD and Broker and save cash there. The Investing Policy would then have been voted on for the Main Market listing. The door was closed on that avenue so they decided to go for option B a delisting from AIM and continue with the new Investing Policy on the ASX. If they stayed on AIM they would have had all the costs and a severe headache pushing through an acquisition or RTO that might be time critical. My understanding that a prospectus would have to be issued and trying to get that through a NOMAD would have been a lot of costs and work. | charaxes1
24/3/2023 11:29 | As an aside, I do believe that for any sub scale LSE or AIM nano cap, you've got to factor in a potential de-list in your downside sensitivity analysis. It's for that reason that I dare not hold anything like this in my ISA and typically wait to pounce until after a strategic view has concluded. | catabrit
24/3/2023 11:27 | Perhaps. I was also wondering if it was related to the poor market value, too i.e. companies like Tiger get better multiples on the ASX. Perhaps that's wishful thinking. The change in strategy is interesting and should be interrogated a little more. It could be that they were restricted in moving quickly because of listing rules over here vs more lax ones on the ASX. Anybody who doesn't want to be in for the ride can obviously just vote with their wallets which they clearly have. I know it sucks for existing / long-suffering shareholders but the management team don't have an obligation to bail us all out. They have to do what they perceive is in the best interests of the company long-term. Clearly my view is a bit different as my basis is 8p odd. I get why others are frustrated. | catabrit
24/3/2023 11:11 | Shieldbug, that's an interesting thought but you may well be right! The key resolution was the change in the investing policy. Will this facilitate an acquisition or an RTO? | charaxes1
24/3/2023 10:47 | It is my expectation that they are doing something with Sprott. My only reason for supposing this is that Sprott are on the board and therefore probably driving this change of direction. | shieldbug
24/3/2023 10:46 | There are two main problems. The first is the sudden delisting which is an immediate problem to most retail investors. But the main problem is the reason why they are doing this. How do you stay invested when you no longer know what the company will do with your investment? | shieldbug
24/3/2023 10:38 | Yeah, I mean when this thing converts to ASX theoretically the ASX shares could tank as everybody rushes for the exits at close to NAV. So, maybe if you're first and very very lucky you get to crystallise the upside day 1? I am not expecting the asx shares to hold their value but who knows? | catabrit
24/3/2023 10:26 | Catabrit, Thank you for letting me know. As you rightly suggest virtually total absence of trading makes this price highly suspect. Live Ink | live ink |
