Copper is considered a vital element of the energy transition. Yet Metal Tigers share price is more of a miner of some obsolete commodity.

BHP hasn’t missed this point, with its recent biggest acquisition since 2011 of a copper miner Oz Minerals. Eventually the sheer value here will show.

According to Jeff Currie (Goldman) the market needs to see 3 years of elevated commodities prices before it will commit serious capital.

since the old hand passed - mtr has changed a lot. not to my taste. they "gambled" with the financial products and they had a call. not cheap one probably. they have no operational competence so they exited projects. all that is left is legacy work from the old chap .... imho

and some young ambition which is not proving itself atm

A couple of investors on a different BB said Hargreaves Lansdown couldn't get hold of any shares to buy at the moment.
I really don't know what that means, short supply maybe.

Capped Royalty of USD2m next year when T3 goes into production and then uncapped 2% Royalty on A4 etc... So in years to come the Royalty stream could be substantial and therefore the embedded value. So literally on the edge of transformation.
