Just to flag up- today is the MES AGM (starting in 20 minutes). The share buyback should be approved today, and keep us on track for completing in Q1 next year.

we spoke too soon. looks like .14 is going to be the new support or the 50ma at 16. grrr

there's no buying later on in the session - so someone dumped and dropped us out. meanwhile if they'd put their order in at .18 i would have been filled.

no news but was lead to believe that funding news would be before xmas.

the stock has always been a tight one.... so big volumes up and down don't really happen.

that would be 31mil (63m MC x .50 cents). and their share of the of the OS is 80%.

well rome wasn't built in a day, so keep my expectations small. so far i'm disappointed in the share price action. we should be in the .30 cent range now and ready to press onto .40 and .50. ho hum.

with mes seeking financing i imagine that there are parties that are managing the share price to their advantage. same old same old.

that would value the company about £20m?

with 70% offshore and the nugal block? £20m sounds way too low surely?

i bow entirely to your better knowledge of the company McBeanburger, but just standing back and looking at it, and forgetting what the company was valued at recently, you would not be surprised to see another company valued at closer to £100m based on holding these world class (literally) assets

How: equity finance. think Range but hopefully better execution. First the On-shore then off-shore. if they hit during on-shore then we should expect a better share price for the off-shore piece. fingers crossed again.

Who: your guess as good as mine. I understand many suiters are lined up.

Would like to know where are the $$$$$$$ suppose to come from for MES to explore offshore Puntland will be a much more expensive play than onshore any views on how or by who.

i believe the long term orange trend line in the weekly chart above is where we are heading in short-medium term.

btw coincidently my understanding is that the larger financing for phase I which is the on shore piece was being touted at 50 cents. no idea what they will get but that's where i'd like them to do the larger finance.

well i believe the retracement is well and truely over... giving me strong buy signals now. 4ma crossed the 20ema.. as mentioned above.

edit: looks like i spoke too soon - late sellers have brought back to earth. its on a knife edge now. 4ma = 20ema. additionally we have a head and shoulders formation, not good. my guess its being managed.
