I notice the still seems a large buyer two lots of 3m traded today, couple this with the directors sells a few days ago , this could be a monumental shorting opportunity ahead of the results.

Yes. My first ever visit to Alton Towers over Easter over 3 days. My misses who's been several times over the years said she reckoned the park was at 20% capacity max.Not good. Even worse they tried to stop us entering on the third day because I was in a motorhome.About two thirds of the long term upgrade plan mooted in 2012 has simply not happened and by my reckoning never will !I say we lost a few hundred quid but got that made up from the anual pass discount, I've already decided we won't be renewing our passes again based on the treatment we got and concluded the shares probably won't fair much better than we as customers did either.

Ive sold out at a small loss. Funnily enough I've taken small stakes in the REIT that owns and leases the park to Merlin instead which seems to have a good track record.

I wonder how many holders of Merlin hold in a SIP aacount were holding for the perks for their kids - Could knock attendence - Mr Market moving down - Could this be a result - read through - of HMRC action ? OK UK only part of their offering but market action interesting. I wonder how many other coys could be hit ?

Remember thisThe situation now with Merlin's drooping wand is of weakness below 355p pointing at 313p with some bounce potentials. In the event 313p breaks, we're looking at 236p as a point where it almost must bounce.

320p is where i'll be seriously considering buying, after a bit more research. ;-)

There again, maybe under 300p is on the cards, i really don't know. The market is not in love with MERL meantime.
