23/11/2009 13:09 | LR2, indeed so, could be very exciting, I am led to believe that the insts involved are "blue chip" and unlikely to dump on admission. Lets hope so and hopefully some decent newsflow throughout december. | ducatiman
23/11/2009 13:04 | Duc, I can't see any news arriving here until next month so I expect the price to drift around in the breeze for a week or so. Far more interested in what the price might do immediately after the EGM. | lr2
23/11/2009 13:00 | LR2, TY, with regard to gma and as Pp would say I am already primed. Some buying coming in here now, hoping support holds. | ducatiman
23/11/2009 12:57 | Hi Duc, hasn't it just. I'm watching it closely with a view to picking up more. Current favourite is GMA should you feel inclined towards something a bit different. | lr2
23/11/2009 12:55 | LR2, cheers, not too bad. I see my turkish delight has turned into a turkish delinquent, :-[ | ducatiman
23/11/2009 12:46 | Current on line limits are: Buy 25k at 59.667p, sell 15k at 59p. | lr2
23/11/2009 12:40 | on line limits anyone/LR2? | ducatiman
23/11/2009 11:57 | Didnt dare sell to buy for the 141 as I don't think they will be available and would then have to buy them back at a higher price. Ended up ordering a percentage of my 141 entitlement and full 143 with new money. Very confident. share price does seem to be finding a level at 60p. Can't remember a share price holding up so well after a placing at less than half the current share price Bodes well imho. | tam oshanter
23/11/2009 11:40 | The above may be prudent for all online applications? Better safe than miss the boat. :0) | scaleyman
23/11/2009 11:39 | For anyone with Natwest applying online for 143 etc, maybe prudent to check per phone if your instructions have gone thru correctly. Call me thick if you like but my deal went thru as applying for extra shares only!!! Open offer shares not applied for !!!!WTF. | scaleyman
23/11/2009 09:50 | Flying, rns says admission is 1st dec. I would imagine that looking at the timetable anyone selling to cover offer will have done so by now. Seems that only levine`s placing shares are subject to lock in, so will the other inst participants hold or sell? I would imagine they will be in for the longer term, so hopefully there will not be a retrace and those hoping for one in order to buy/buyback will have to decide to get in all the same. Next week will be very very interesting indeed. | ducatiman
23/11/2009 08:50 | Well according to master chartist fingers he suggests that this is the week for a breakout into a new trading range. This was the chart posted early last week. I am also curious as to whether Mr Levine is precuded from operating in Russia or former FSU countries due to takeover conditions re the IEC deal. A move into Russia, especially Siberia, would surely be a region Mr Levine would have in sight otherwise. | tadtech
23/11/2009 08:49 | Is tomorrow an important day for the share issuing? My SIPP account says I needed to say how many shares I needed and have the money available by the 24th November. Will the shares get issued tomorrow or will I still have to wait till the end of the month? | flyingswan
23/11/2009 08:11 | Mawnin AiE, you have been quiet, all ok? | ducatiman
23/11/2009 07:11 | Morning all | all in eol
22/11/2009 21:26 | This coming week should be interesting though. I will defo top up on the drops if they ocure. | william-just
22/11/2009 20:24 | William, I suspect that many will be have the same idea as you. It is possible that much of the selling that has occured since the announcement has been over and above what was required to take up 1 4 3, with the extra to cover the 1 4 1 request. If none are forthcoming, they may hope to pick up some at lower levels. As the shares have been moped up at the current price levels over the last 3 weeks, it is difficult to imagine that there will be many extra shares for those who have allocated funds in their accounts to finance the request. The share price here has not followed the usual pattern for placings, which is testimony to the high regard that PL's busines prowess is held by the market. The current shareholders with surplus cash may well have to compete with new money at current or higher levels if they wish to increase their holding. Nothing wrong with being prepared though. | milfeddyg
22/11/2009 19:32 | I think that a lot of cash is on the side line fro the results on monday week, I have a £10k stash looking for a home but only on a heavt drop in share price as am top heavy with MRP. | william-just
22/11/2009 10:07 | Flogged a few on Friday...hoping to get as many excess shares as possible but dare say they will be much sought after, so not expecting that many. | granny7
21/11/2009 13:45 | Milf, lol. Point taken. | ducatiman
20/11/2009 20:38 | ducatiman - 20 Nov'09 - 08:11 - 16149 of 16166 Milf, traders have no long term impact on a share price, if they did, they would all be multi millionairs, which few are. They do however add liquidity. duc, I have nothing against traders per se. I was merely pointing out that the days when shareholders could be spooked into selling on a phone call to the Fire chief of the town of Orion to report the smell of sour gas are over. | milfeddyg
20/11/2009 16:11 | Victor - If I understand it correctly English is not your first language but clearly you haven't understood what I said. Don't worry about it - I know you are very busy working on other things - best you concentrate on those : have a good weekend. | technohead |
