22/11/2007 20:31 | WBJ, Thanks for the update but I must say I think you are mad. Best wishes my friend and I will be watching with fingers crossed for you. | tuftymatt
22/11/2007 15:11 | tufty i did but bought 25% back at 63 having sold the lot for .87, seemed priced to low and overdone by the market. Rest of capital in safe for time being, see how these get on long term now, best wishes all................. Must admit to feeling gutted on monday as I have said to ddl. | wbjunior
22/11/2007 10:29 | Thanks for posting DDL and good luck in the future. WBJ, I thought you said you had sold out in full. Don't tell me you found a few shares tucked under the floorboards......LOL | tuftymatt
22/11/2007 09:09 | Morning momentos I see MM has lived up to my long held opinion of him.Let's hope his new Russian wife doesn't divorce him too..he'll struggle with maintenance payments on the 2 kids at this rate...still no doubt he'd claim it on expenses! What shares you in to at present? | argy2
22/11/2007 08:12 | BTW Plus Markets "MOre" button seems to be working again, so you can see more than the last 5 trades over there. | momentos
22/11/2007 08:03 | Cant see alot of movement up from here. The H1 EPS of 1.2p gives us a potential (OK H2 is usually better) annualised EPS of 2.5p. Shore Capital estimate about 10p. So a fair estimate would be an average of the two - 6p. Putting Marchpole currently on a P/E of 10. Fair enough discount to peers given their penchant for minimally informing the market whats going on. | momentos
21/11/2007 21:10 | Hi Warren, Cheers for that, thought I wasn't alone on that one! I tried to put up a bit of a fight on the matter on iii but to be honest I can't be bothered anymore! I think the share will rebound in the near future. We shall see. Still holding... Jim | jimblebee
21/11/2007 21:00 | Jim there is always posters like that we have one on here now if you read back, good luck to you. Hopefully these will bounce back for the long term investors still holding, many who bought alot higher that £1 and would have lost loads, by staying its only a paper loss and can recover imv...........wbj Best wishes to everyone and keep your chin up if still holding. | wbjunior
21/11/2007 20:48 | Hi Warren, Just out of interest, as I have been following your posts on iii. Do you think that Target Setter, Trip Switch and meatloaf are the same person? I think they must be betting on stocks going up and down. Personally I feel there is alot of life n this share yet! Regards Jim | jimblebee
21/11/2007 20:34 | cosnova sold most , but retain a much smaller holding, who knows may still have some life in the share yet................. | wbjunior
21/11/2007 18:25 | somebody buys nearly 1.4 million, don't you think thats a bit suspect after the price has been slashed, probably the surplus shares from Mondays sellers | cosnova
21/11/2007 16:46 | Dont be silly. Why would they want to buy anymore shares? They'll probably get 100k each this year for being non execs (was about 61k last year). Why worry about making money on the SP? | momentos
21/11/2007 16:38 | Not the directors though! | ba5hir is back
21/11/2007 16:36 | Well, someone bought or sold big today: 15:39:44 61 550000 15:21:04 61.31 806451 Thats nearly 5%. Barclays averaging down? (!) | momentos
21/11/2007 16:23 | Massive vote of confidence aint it. lol | ba5hir is back
21/11/2007 16:12 | Oh dear, it really is only a 5,000 purchase this time. Takes his total holding to 5,000 why doesn't he see this as a chance to acquire a significant stake? Marchpole Director/PDMR Shareholding RNS Number:2268I Marchpole Holdings PLC 21 November 2007 21 November 2007 Marchpole Holdings plc (the "Company") Directors' Shareholdings The Company announces that, on 21 November 2007, John Molloy, non executive Director, acquired 5,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 62 pence per share. As a result, John Molloy is interested in a total of 5,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.02% of the issued share capital of 27,151,246 Ordinary Shares. | 0o0
21/11/2007 16:11 | In communications with them the other week they told me that the YSL revenues could not be replaced overnight.Maybe that should have set the alarm bells ringing but then again Marchpole are basically now a new company or am I missing something? | jamesjoel
21/11/2007 16:03 | If things are that good why has shore slashed forecasts. Why dont the co give figures? Because they have not got a clue thats why, The other thing is sales dont always equate into profit. Now the co has clearly lost money on at least one of its continuing operations because the profit was that low for the whole group. Sorry but it stinks and so does management. | ba5hir is back |
