Morning, MPH pausing for breath after an adrenalin rush to new highs for the last two years. Next on the agenda is the year end trading statement prior to published results around early June and continued support all the way imho. Not forgetting the Boateng case due this month or next and hopefully sorted for good in our favour. If only we had a crystal ball to see how the forward orders are being taken up, but that would take all the excitement out of the game so best not to know perhaps. Off for rest of day looking at Kitchen equipment have a good day and keep HF.........................wbj

A few holders shaken out by the market today and with a profit to boot, but trading on around 8 times this years earnings and 2.6% dividend coupled with the growth potential it looks a great hold for more upside to me. A profits a profit and good luck to those that have taken it..........................wbj

wbj, historical chart circa 1999 and you have Marchpole at 400p level.

Think you may have slight edge on o/t to beat me to 200p first.Time will tell.Enjoying the journey.

MPH positive sentiment with professional public recognition trading too cheaply relative to peers retail sector. In my view means MPH worth at least 40p old money = 200p now.Buy and add on the dips only cosmetic to tease out a few sellers.Wholeheartedly agree with your continue long term hold strategy and should see meaniful increase in divis too.regards lex ;o)

Lex if the pattern for 2004 repeats itself we will be on £3.94 by the year end and that would be something special!!!!....Now if that happens I will buy the first round.....lol.......wbj

Hi wbj, seen your post on other thread thanks.Every right to be bullish here on Marchpole methinks. If thinking in old money suggests here & now share price of between 37p-50p that's 185p-250p.Reason Funds hopped on board much lower and why MPH has held up so well on re-rating journey to fair value. As you would say keep holding.....hope to join you @ 170p soon regards lex ;o)

Agree Dan thats getting on for £4 and that would set me and mrs wbj up very nicely for our retirement. Yes we had a great time flew to Palma Nova and stayed in the same hotel we used before right on the beach. It looks like mph holders are not letting their shares go this time round not a sell in sight, would expect a tick up soon if the buys comtinue.......Good luck..........wbj

Good break wbj?, I can see MPH moving up to the industry standard of 18 x forward eps eventually, doesn`t take much in the way of maths to work out that MPH is massively undervalued at the moment.

Morning all, rock solid after a rise of 10 yesterday and would you believe it more licences/acquisitions being talked about. Speaks volumes about the way the management has turned the business around after the end of YSL, with sentiment increasing by the day. Now is the time to sit tight and enjoy the ride, I can't see this retracing before around the £2.00 level and then moving on from there. As you can see I'm in a very bullish mood after my break, good luck and well deserved to all long term holders and those who have just jumped on board.................wbj

From the press release:-

Earlier this year, Bespoke Couture Limited sold a diffusion range of garments to
some of the Company's customers in breach of the Licence Agreement. The Company
commenced proceedings in June 2006 against Bespoke Couture Limited claiming
damages and in those proceedings Bespoke Couture Limited have made a
Counterclaim in which it alleges that it has new grounds to terminate the
Licence Agreement. The Company has been advised that Bespoke Couture Limited has
no prospect of success and that it will be awarded substantial damages against
Bespoke Couture Limited.

The Company is seeking trial of the new action at the earliest possible date
which is likely to be in about March or April 2007. In the meantime, the Company
have continued to produce and sell Boateng Diffusion garments for Spring/Summer
2007 and will be doing so for the Autumn/Winter 2007 season.

lol - not sure that will be too long-term at the current rate of progress. Obviously 180p is the critical level here - I expect the current rally to take us to that level but it should pause, and could easily retrace from there. If it takes out 180 then this could go on a monster bull run IMO.
