First trade showing on advfn (none on PLUS) mm absorbed sell and pushes offer price up.Continues looking positive and heading 120p methinks.Meant to say lit the blue fuse paper but you know what i mean.

At a guess we have been "tipped" on one of the many investment sites at the weekend, obviously not one of the bigger ones tho`, or we would have picked up on it.

I`m nearly back in overall profit!

How are the B Bulls going to show a paper profit tomorrow ? Obviously they will post a buy or buy if, but surely even their ability to beat the spread each time will need greater creative ingenuity than normal.



Does anyone have a guess at what has been leaked to cause the share price rise? We will probably be granted clarity by Wednesday either by RNS or company statement but until then how about --- Marchpole announce a massive rise in sales for the A/W 2006/7 period coupled with excessive demand for the S/S 2007 Ungaro range, Boatang gives in and pays MPH a large cheque for an undisclosed sum in full and final settlement and gives us our Bentley back , JCC skiwear is the new must have on the piste and his/our pong has taken all the sales vacuum created by the withdrawal of Jade Goodys' chav scent. Oh yes, Asim Abdullah has tabled an initial takeover bid of £4.90 per share in cash but thinks he will have to increase this substantially because MPH is such a great company and that longstanding shareholders will not be pursuaded to sell on the cheap.

It could happen.

Part of his frustration stems from a complicated legal dispute with Marchpole, his former licencing partner.

The parties have filed claims and counterclaims, after Marchpole accused Mr Boateng of breaching a licensing deal by supplying his menswear through retailers at prices that competed with the lines distributed through Marchpole. Marchpole won the latest round, with the Court of Appeal ruling in its favour, but Mr Boateng is determined to fight on.

He says that linking up with Marchpole was one of his "biggest mistakes" but he insists that he had no other retail options. "One of the biggest problems in the UK is that we don't have companies that specialise in licence arrangements for clients like me. It's very difficult to get that support."

Well its not taking a lot to move this upwards I just bought another £5000 and it moved the price a couple of pence so the MM must be well short of stock.Come on boys dip in ya pockets and lets enjoy the ride.Should be an update next month on present trading which I think will beat expectations by far FILL YA BOOTS this share is a sleeping giant dont say I didnt tell ya!
