Out of total bank fee`s of £1 million, there was £500,000 in costs "for additional banking facilities" this seems to me to be a rather high figure for normal ongoing banking, could it rather be an arrangement fee for the cash required to buy the "aquisition in the new year"????????????

WBJ,

I am in CCT too from 100p and one big thing going in their favour is market sentiment.

This is something I take as serious as how the numbers stack up and I feel that with all the positive statements coming out in the press etc the price is still way undervalued.

MPH on paper has good numbers that would merit a higher share price but as no one really trusts this company anymore hence the negative market activity.

Lex

Good luck with CCT, I have had a look at the numbers and taking into account the drag on earnings of discontinued business although offset to some degree by the exceptional gain a figure of 5.93p eps is fair. This puts them on a p/e ratio of over 22 and this financial year I believe the discontinued business will still have an effect but without the help of an exception gain. Having said that the growth is good and if they can achieve 20%+ they will have done well and may hit around 8p eps for the year.

To rich for my blood ill watch and take note, but if I had bought in at around 75p I would consider taking profits now at over £1.30. Just my take on things and probably way off.......................regards and good luck wbj

wbj, counting my blessings & good fortune.

My main nap for 2007 is as you know CCT,highlighted on here @ 76p again strongly highlighted @ 100p.Breakouts continue. As you know post thoughts & actions at the time.Vis-a-vis selling of MPH to put into CCT.MPH would need to be currently trading @ 152.5p to produce same returns. Posted my thanks to comments on MPH board to put ALL monies into stock knowing will go up.As you are aware invested 90% cash + extra savings totalling £24k into CCT.CCT taken quickly down to 120p last few days on thin volumes.Kept posting genuine buying opportuntiy & closed 133.5p-135p today.PKW second nap for 2007 mentioned here @ 100p doing similarly well at 132p-135p.Expect both shares to double & both doubly good growth stocks paying a dividend. Then there is small punt in ARG.

wbj, you're good at doing actual number crunching,if interested here's link to caste your eye over again whilst waiting on MPH.

You know me, above by way of a factual update and in no way intended as boastful. All I want to do is be part of a friendly respectful community, post genuine thoughts at the time,do my bit in contributing hopefully peeps make money and not lose it .Post about my failures where got it wrong.Wish everyone good fortune when MPH eventually takes off. All gains well deserved once sentiment turns positive with reasons for market to re-rate them much higher.Really willing MPH on & hope move when it comes will be fast & furious.Full respect to you for never selling accruing huge losses; seeing your investment return to profits with help of averaging down and collecting divis.Cost me £100k learning lessons which you have done on paper only. All credit to you friend.

Best Wishes

Lex ;o)

Well, with the A/W Ungaro stocks selling out that augurs well for the S/S order book, which is on its way out to the shops now!

Good to here your positive comments and like you I think MM will be looking to move this share price alot higher in the medium term. As I stated before the acquisition is progressing smoothly and the announcement will be soon, that was nearly three weeks ago, so not sure how long "soon" is.

What I believe we need to do to cement sentiment is for the acquisition to be turning revenue of around 25 million already and earnings enhancing from day one, hopefully this will be the case, how they fund it is another question, my guess is a placement of shares. Good luck and like you holding firm...........wbj

Hi wbj, everyone. Cheer up. Yes YSL is well and truly gone but lets remind ourselves how much more diverse the package is that replaces it - lots of impressive new labels, licences, acquisitions, overseas distribution deals, etc. Surely things can only get better. To my mind the other key thing is that MM is getting to a stage in life - 60ish - when if he has any sense he will see a last chance to prove himself and will want to go out on a high. So IMHO he will currently be working his designer socks off hoping to get the share price to a point much above where it is now and to sell out. I cannot believe that at 60+ he sees his exit route involving some form of management buyout? Just another angle for what its worth. Comments please.

Regards, FDH - yet another still holding firmly!

I hold because I love surprises ! I bought only a couple of days or so before it jumped by 2/3rds in one day early last year if I recall corrctly, and sold for a very good profit.Pure luck of course in terms of timing, but what seemed to me a good buildup had been ignored.I'm hoping lighting strikes twice, but I do like this quietness.
