My suggestion ( call ) was 5 month ago.
My calls usually from the "UPS" thread are for short term punts ( 1 week ).

How "THICK" any person can be ( momentos ) suggesting I was giving bad advise to posible investors during that time that share price bounce back from 12.50p to 25p

Many investors take years to get a 100% return in their investment, when at that time one could and I did get almost that porcentage buying and selling after a couple weeks. On times like now if a decent return is on the way one must take it, greediness or investing for long time is a thing of the past, one should wait till the economy return to better shape, at least that is what I am doing.

Think probably results are due next week ......and I would guess combined with some ''good news''.
Never could figure out why the directors were not buying at such a low levels --so my guess is that they know something, that we dont ----- and therefore need to wait till official announcement is made. Am still guessing that maybe they had no money to secure a deal before.................
Expect large directors purchases soon after whatever statement.
Or , if I'm wrong.....time to sell up, fast.

For those interested on the trades at Plus market, no many but it seems on a bad day like today a MM move down the price at 8.20 am, then the others did the same, though no trades till at 8.46am 9.8K sale and then once again all move the price down again 8.55am the last one, no change since ( reached that conclution looking at Level 2.

re- The only indications in February were that it was ripe for some P & D merchant to exploit a DCB.

If you have no idea of how share performance work, is you fault not mine, any sharp drop and eventualy getting steady at bottom is sign of bouncing back on the way, some people call it (CAT bounce)

I never state my position, buying or selling, but I do inform posters as how the Indicators are at the time, so is up to them to buy or sell, I do not intend to encourage anybody but inform of the situation at the time.

STOCKWATCH Burberry Group higher on positive update; Kaupthing slightly cautious




LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Shares in Burberry Group ticked higher in
midmorning deals, following a robust update, while Kaupthing, Singer &
Friedlander Capital Markets took a slightly cautious view of the outlook.
At 10:22 a.m., Burberry Group shares were 9-1/4 pence higher to 406-1/4
pence, while the FTSE 250 index fell 119.5 points to 8,326.2.
Earlier on Tuesday, the fashionwear and luxury goods company said underlying
sales across the group rose by 22 percent to 211 million pounds in the three
months to end-March 2008, defying wider retail gloom.

Just an observation about the '.' header.

I understand your frustration with some posters on this thread but would it be too much to ask for you to just put back the standard couple of small charts and news box in the header, as there clearly are still some 'decent' people who use this/look in on this thread - wbj, yourself and dare I say... me... not forgetting all the others of course.

Only guesswork but it could be a placing at 10p or so a share. MMs quite often simply drop the shareprice to near the placing price to avoid the recipients of the 'cheap' shares from being able to sell them at a profit - especially in markets like these, where they know there won't be any buyers for those shares.

My calls have allways been "short term" using the Indicators, and that is how one could have "DOUBLE THEIR MONEY", from 12.50p to 25p in less than a week back on last February, I did.

I have no position on MPH or any share at the moment being, things are looking BAD, as profit warning are the thing of the day.
