Just try to keep up with the macro situation and my investments.
The amount of information out there is rising exponentially so it's hard to keep up with all the other subjects that interest me .... :-(

MML annual results likely next week.

Re gold, my opinion is the long delayed moon shot will begin at the time of or very soon after the start of the coming Wall St collapse which is likely to be the last of the financial markets to resist the inevitable but carry all other markets with it ......

Ironically, if one listens to Yanis Varoufakis in the presentation linked in Dek's post above from a few years back you will hear him provide the reasoning for the slowdown in global trade which is, amongst other things, impacting the US economy. According to YV it was inevitable!

I read 'The Global Minotaur' some time ago - I recommend it!

As second-quarter earnings season winds down, the S&P 500 is basically assured of suffering the first revenue recession since the Great Recession. With 94% of the S&P 500 companies (471 out of 502) having reported results, reported revenue has declined 3.6% from a year ago, according to FactSet. That follows a 2.8% decline in the first quarter.

The rule of thumb is, an economic recession is defined as two-straight quarters of gross domestic production contraction. The S&P 500 is currently on course for the first back-to-back quarters of declining revenue since the four-quarter stretch from Q4 2008 to Q3 2009.

Hi Chip,

Just a shout out the free upgrade offer is for the first 12 months so you should be able to upgrade when you get back no problem and I would have expected a few patches will have ironed out any major problems by then.

However a big part of me thinks why bother if everything works for you now!

Peter - me to! Best I keep things as they are for a while I think.

I had thought to (at least) update my laptop from W7 before going abroad this Autumn but will probably not take up the free upgrade to W10 as I do not want to risk problems whilst I am away for those 4 weeks.

Thanks for that Niels, I look at things like this--- if its possible to manipulate/ cheat/ commit fraud, call it what we will then it will be done till the system is cleaned out, everything is manipulated and the vast majority is done through the corrupt futures exchanges,and shorting should be outlawed as well,

As we know, various commentators have been predicting market crashes every year for years! (Boy crying wolf!!, until we have become pretty much inured ..... )

Despite the likely scepticism, from all that I've read, it's my opinion that everything is coming together for the next financial, economic and social collapse to hit next month, September 2015.

As we have seen, every time the US markets have started to collapse this year (approx once a month) the PPT has stepped in and pushed the markets straight back up. Which raised the question of: do they continue to do this for the rest of this year? for another whole year to mid 2016? or exactly when do they step aside and let market forces operate? Which more than likely means a well overdue crash.

In the same way that NASA space missions are rooted in ritualistic dates and symbols from Freemasonry (origins in Egypt) as revealed by Richard Hoagland in his analyses, it is likely that the same people behind the curtain (TPTB) at NASA are controlling the Stock Market and will be pulling the plug on the NYSE on a ritualistic date in accordance with the Shemitah in September, as per many other Shemitah market collapses and significant events in the past 100 years.

There are no coincidences. Imo everything has been pre-planed, lined up and timed to go off in September. Most probably mid September. We shall see.

And what about gold and silver in such an event?

Don't think about it for a few months until they sort all the software conflicts. My system crashed and the computer is still in being wiped and a clean install being done.
