SS2, you're right about the suffering I've been in this since it started from Turnpike so like you I'll probably never recoup my losses.

It had so much promise back then in the late nineties but now as you say is unlikely to grow much organically.

A take out around 15p would help but would still seem a poor reward for all the disappointments we've sufferedover the years!!

waranty, no you are not dreaming. More likely to be suffering, like me, from years and years of disappointments with MLS. I would be delighted to get out at 12p+ and not have to log on everyday for another setback. I had big hopes for MLS but am now disillusioned and looking just to break even and get my £50K investment back and move on.

I feel the current set up is in place to move the business into a larger group be it PLC or private because I cannot see it growing organically on its own.

We could have taken 10p a share some time ago when the business was in far worse shape than now so surely it would need to be more than that for a take out?

The cash in bank alone is nearly worth that.

Around 15-20p would seem more realistic or am I dreaming as usual with MLS???

Yes Texas have been involved on and off with MLS for years now seems pretty obvious now they could be favourites to take out MLS if anyone is ? Plus the Lawrie Turnbull connection makes it look a lot more interesting ?

For what its worth this weeks IC maintains its buy recommendation although it qualifies it with the word 'speculative'. Overall the IC considers that the new management team are making some progress with the company and notes that the cervical screening business has built a 47% market share of the liquid based cytology business in England and Wales. It also reports that Geneservice which was spun out of the Medical Research Council two years ago is profitable and cash generative. Thats good news in my books, Geneservice it says should push MLS towards break even in 2007

if you are not in a hurry then I believe this stock will come good- just don't hold your breath. the purchase of shares by the directors is quite bullish imho.

Yes Bart it is nice to see ! As you know the way MLS as been Managed in the past in my opinion as been nothing short of a disgrace , probably anyone off the street could have done a better job ! Although as per my past comments the NHS have crippled the company at times dragging their feet not wanting to spend Money .

Well the Chairman has just brought another 1.1 Million to add to his collection !

Hmm ... Some people as you say might have been past Losers as we know dealing in the Stockmarket is not for the Faint Hearted ! At least MLS are still around unlike a few companies that come to mind in the same sector !

So Losers in the past and as SC said recently MLS at this price level and now steadily turning the corner at long last ! Think you would have to say Buy Now and be potentially a Winner in the not too distant future ?

At this price think I may even treat myself to some MLS ... Lol
