07/6/2007 14:08 | Taking people time to realise the huge potential here for quite a big upturn. | omgwhid2

07/6/2007 11:56 | I agree, we seem to moving in the right direction. The market would like see some director buying and so would I. SS2 | suicidesid2
07/6/2007 11:14 | Yes at long last it looks as though things just might be moving in the right direction ? At least they seem keen now {Not that they shouldn't] in monitoring their everyday Overheads also . Anyway as always lets wait and see ! might see share price tick up towards 10p one day ? ... Lol | paulo dicanio
07/6/2007 10:04 | At least they are growing the Business in partnership sciences, looks like a very shrewd move to me and of the direction they are taking the company in for future growth + a tick up on the news. | bartdude
04/6/2007 12:12 | Shame these announcements a lot of the time never seem to give any indication of potential revenues , even if they based them on a very conservative side would help ? Perhaps it's just not possible to do so ? Suppose it's the usual "Jam Tomorrow Syndrome" we have heard for years now with regards the Sp ? | paulo dicanio
01/6/2007 12:24 | Lets hope the thread title "Now proving a strong recovery play" will at last apply. | bartdude
01/6/2007 08:17 | Typical market reaction to the news. | bobby.ifa
01/6/2007 07:54 | According to the message this is the "first" of several such deals so it should bode well if we get some more announcements to bulk up the offer and keep MLS in the spotlight. There's no indication of potential earnings however so it's difficult to see how it would have much impact on the share price at this moment. | warranty
01/6/2007 07:17 | Good news this morning, wonder what this will do to our fortunes? | bobby.ifa
24/5/2007 21:18 | Absolutely, I agree. But usually on such small volumes traded with the lack of news, MLS's price tends to slip. At least it has in the past. Still, I'm pleased that it hasn't slipped. It can only bode well for the future... | baka
24/5/2007 19:11 | Medical Solutions appears to have improved it's lot of late. I bought shares in these about 6 years ago when they were a lot more expensive than now. However it looks like these could now finally come into their own over the next year or so. It appears that they now have £15m cash in the bank from the sale of various assets (this should generate £750k a year just in interest) and have reduced their losses by increased efficiency. The market cap is less than £15m, so effectively the business of the company is being valued at zero. As it is a loss making company this is probably understandable, however it appears that a shakeup of the board has gotten rid of several highly paid members who have been replaced with much lower salaried individuals. Although the Company made a large loss again for the ye 2006, this was significantly lower that previously and included several large one off costs such as retiring the said board members and cost of disposals of assets. Another positive is the fact that the new board members have been given large share options at todays prices which are exercisable in 3 years. This looks like all the right moves - reorganise the board and the company, sell off assets to generate cash, cut costs, incentive the staff to perform. Looks like the right ingredients, now we just need some good results. | scribble99999
23/5/2007 22:22 | 50k is only 3.3k baka, hardly a stock-market shaterring sell mate. | bobby.ifa
23/5/2007 18:42 | My suspicion is there is someone building up a stake in MLS at the moment - note the 100k buys in the last few weeks. The more focussed direction presented by Turnbull also gives a rosier feel for the the overall prospects for MLS. I sold 50K about a week ago at 6.75, which had no effect on the bid/offer price at all. In fact, bid price has since firmed up. Good luck to all. Oh, and by the way, talking about firmer prospects, take a look at FUM. | baka
21/5/2007 14:08 | Hologic (HOLX) over the weekend agreed to buy Cytyc (CYTC) for $6.2 billion in cash and stock in a deal creating a women's health-services leader. | lbo
08/5/2007 20:34 | How on Earth can this still be going up when almost everything else is going down, and on no news either? Is MLS weird or what?? | warranty
30/4/2007 23:04 | Well somebody must know or suspect something is happening so let's just hope they're right for once!! It's about time MLS started its rise back to the highs of years past. | warranty
30/4/2007 13:31 | You said it!! | bartdude
30/4/2007 13:09 | Might well be Bartdude...... Just the thought of MLS releasing any kind of news is enough to get everybody excited nowadays. Watching with interest.... | stevi111
30/4/2007 11:38 | Like I said, NEWS...... | bartdude
30/4/2007 10:49 | Seems to be very little stock around to buy. MMS trying to shake out weak holders. Must be something brewing | lbo
30/4/2007 10:35 | No 6, "A couple of small punters have bought a few grand's worth....." Over 4 million shares traded is more than th enormal couple of punters for this share. Stake building? | cmillar |
