03/11/2009 09:38 | not sure i agree with you - some of the directors were there at the same time as Best and should have stood up to him. By not doing so, they are implicit in agreeing with him. That is the role of the board afterall. By agreeing to be a director of any company, they should understand their roles and responsibilities. If they don't agree with the board's stance, they should resign. By not doing so, they are agreeing with the board's position. | jamie62
23/10/2009 15:23 | wondering if the directors have left this shambles, or they seeing it through administration? at least they won't get any sort of payoff or redundancy.... not really the best environment to be looking for a new job (let alone being off the back of a complete failure...) | jamie62
22/10/2009 10:25 | You're so right jamie62! | pamskie2
22/10/2009 10:12 | i can't believe that there will not be anything to distribute ... the board shoudl hang their heads in shame | jamie62
20/10/2009 19:03 | So there's no possibility of a return of capital by the administrators after all is sold off? Remember former employer was forced into administration, sadly they were appointed on a fees rather than fixed cost basis, and surprise surprise the fees magically gobbled up any cash realised by sale of assets. Cheers Mr. Best, ironic name now I look at it! | johnny felopez
20/10/2009 17:48 | It will be interesting to see if the A1 gasbag & wife return with a new company and new backers and the Patents for the technology , bought for a song !. | tenapen
20/10/2009 09:33 | Sold off to the highest bidder by the administrators, I presume. | bennytheball
20/10/2009 08:50 | So what happens to all the good work and progress made in the labs? | pamskie2
19/10/2009 16:43 | Sad to say it is finished. | tenapen
19/10/2009 08:45 | Is MMG now deceased or is there any hope of it being resurrected? | johnny felopez
25/9/2009 20:29 | Hi Gurp great to hear from you yes got caught by them at the end if only I had known 3 years back..bunch of scumbags the lot of them and Finnes just as bad with their 30/40p valuation I am investing in oils/ miners at least they are more honest.. | mitzis
15/9/2009 08:51 | mornin' Mitz - still around? (unlike mmg) the situation sums up the country today, greed, but what goes around.......... it's why I spread my investments so only had a very small amount in here, most biotechs proved to be a dream gone wrong in the end. miners & oil the place to be atm. don't trust any tipsters or journos (either incapable or agendas but others will always follow them) & cynical re bb'ers, but ludricous when you can't trust the diretors of a company you part own & pay to represent you. Still - better than a terminal illness gl for the future.............. | gurp
10/9/2009 22:59 | Laughing all the way to the bank. | penrynner
10/9/2009 20:48 | Well well Senor and Senorita Best(Mitchell) Good luck in all your new ventures peeps. You will need it. Your actions are well noted and will not be forgotten in the city. You will not be so lucky next time. I think you have just blown the last remnants of cred. I don't think you will be able to raise jack sh*t again. LOL and ROFL Regards q | quazie12
07/9/2009 14:38 | Those director sales were to satify institutional demand from memory........... | barkjon23
07/9/2009 11:44 | Just answered my own question, they were on AIM | barkjon23
07/9/2009 11:41 | Was MMG on AIM or the main list? Thanks | barkjon23
07/9/2009 11:10 | Unfortunately I wouldn't count on receiving anything from MMG The IP will be bought for pennies and any cash in company account will for the the adminsitrators and other advisors 3p to £3 to zero. What a ride! Good luck to all barkjon23 | barkjon23
07/9/2009 09:35 | Like everyone else I stand to lose a fair amount as a result of this demise. Have just phoned the company to try and speak to someone, preferably a director, and am advised that a meeting with the administrator is scheduled for this afternoon. I am promised an update following that meeting, watch this space! | hedley2
06/9/2009 19:39 | Lost a few quid with this one over the years - best of luck everyone for the future | everton448
06/9/2009 19:12 | Quite so. Well it's been good travelling with you and many others on this thread during that time. Sorry it ended so badly and hope to connect with some of you again elsewhere. Ben | bennytheball
06/9/2009 17:58 | Tongue in cheek by me Benny but the fact remains many followers from the last7/8 years have been seriously mis-led by the Bests who have been busy feathering their nests at the pi's expense. | mitzis
05/9/2009 20:55 | Same here re my pension. A hard lesson hopefully learnt. For the future I expect to get it all back on good Oil Exploration companies. The shelving of exploration will cause oil to rocket when demand returns. | ningram |
