20/2/2007 12:29 | Things seem to be looking up again. | spaceparallax
12/2/2007 08:44 | Strange Trade?? | dalcon01
09/2/2007 14:06 | Maybe it is the start of a trend change for the reasons in post 865 | mathisvale
09/2/2007 11:04 | Any news/rumour behind the little bounce this morning, or just a bit of bottom fishing? | bletherer
09/2/2007 09:46 | OY, It goes without saying that the borrowing/debt levels will remain high for a while after such a big acquisition; however, they are well managed and cash flow is not an issue. | spaceparallax
08/2/2007 17:09 | Yes - high debt levels make this less attractive and ongoing uncertainty over the acquisition. A less risky option is to wait for an update as a downbeat statement will punish this further regardless | ok,yah
07/2/2007 11:11 | PB, I can understand your reluctance. | spaceparallax
07/2/2007 10:23 | It didn't help that PMUR issued a downgrade on 10 Jan - the broker now rates MSQ a SELL. Corporate Synergy has recently put the stock under review. It seems oversold and due a bounce and all that, but prudence is the wiser course at the mo. That means waiting for the pre-close update, due in March (probably). It might take a few weeks for the biggish trades at 12p to get mopped up, too - assuming there are no others out there! Then again, bid speculation might return at these levels, which would help prop the share price So perhaps the downside is limited and a small punt not unjustified. But I'm keeping clear for the time being. | pbracken
07/2/2007 09:56 | movement in consensus eps over the last 3 months says it all - has slipped around 30% | markie7
07/2/2007 09:13 | Math, Your summary is correct. As you say, for anyone who has a good feel for the Company and the reasons behind the fall (i.e. mainly Market sentiment at perceived under-delivery) could do very well buying now. IMHO the fundamentals are solid, if not perfect - the Company is still busy digesting the massive ex-Huntsworth acquisition - there might be symptoms of stomach ache for a while, but once any excrement has been sorted out, the patient should return to rude health. | spaceparallax
07/2/2007 08:56 | A summary of the situation - 1. Share price in a long downtrend from 31p and a short almost unrelenting downtrend from 17.75p 2. Selling in large volume 3. Bulletin board very quiet 4. Almost all opinion on this stock is bearish Situation : Excellent, I think that I will buy some. Seriously though, this stock is showing all the classic symptoms of a sell-off, at the nadir. It takes courage to buy at this point, especially when no one else agrees with you | mathisvale
07/2/2007 07:40 | Looking very weak....big volumes as well..... | qs9

03/2/2007 19:28 | all gone quiet. about 20% down in 2007 with no announcement. year end is feb, and the interims said that there would be substantial announcements in the last quarter; probably not unrelated to the appointment of Lazards as corporate finance advisors (nice and cheap those guys - good choice). I dunno. 10p? | markie7
29/1/2007 10:45 | I understand, through a direct Email, that MSQ have recently launched an on-line service called OLIVE - interesting to see how it fares. | spaceparallax
22/1/2007 09:35 | Bleth, Not really getting bad feelings, more like frustration. Having said that, I hear directly from MSQ that they've secured more big work wins (although for some reason the RNS isn't here). I remain very confidence in the medium to long term prospects here. | spaceparallax
19/1/2007 23:59 | Space - are you not getting a bad feeling about this after what happened in September? Persistent selling on AIM companies for "no apparent reason", and in this case even in the face of ostensibly good news, is as often as not insiders exiting prior to bad news. Since it's already happened once with MSQ in the recent past there surely must be quite a risk that it's going to happen again. | bletherer
19/1/2007 16:55 | wish takeover talks are back again, or mice merge with them.. | latifs100
19/1/2007 15:27 | I'm seeing some big trades, approx 600K, vast majority of which are Sells - if it gets much lower, I'm going to have to top-up again and make a killing when rationality lifts the share price up again. | spaceparallax
19/1/2007 09:33 | We continue to drift, which in the wake of the excellent recent contract win is strange. Anyone heard of news or rumour that might be causing this? | spaceparallax
15/1/2007 15:05 | Cheers Space, I got lots of time, hopefully!! | boxtie2
12/1/2007 21:43 | I've seen a few posters who're keen on Elixir - fingers crossed. On MSQ I reiterate the need to fully appreciate the enormity of the task taken on by the Management when they took over the chunk of Huntsworth - it's not much over a year now. I have great faith in the track record of Jeremy Middleton and the ability of the much bigger MSQ to perform once fully tuned and pulling in the same direction - I'm sure that this'll require another 12-18mths to really show. | spaceparallax
12/1/2007 13:52 | ok Space....I am in it for the long haul....on a bit of a downer.out of 6 in the pf I have 4 red. :( aimr is a good un though....ah reckon it will soar...and elp...spudding when weather permits might be ok also, though it is a high risk play.....especially after 2 dusty holes.....c'mon msq..... jb | boxtie2 |
