19/11/2018 21:37 | I reckon this will really tomorrow. | useless23
19/11/2018 13:43 | Well that went down well - not! | saltaire111
19/11/2018 10:05 | So annoying when companies do this. | saltaire111
05/10/2018 16:05 | Mears MM are corrupt B*^%$$s. I follow this share on a regular basis, around 11:00am, 15:00pm and just before close some buy or sell orders take place every day. Take yesterday at 16:35 they closed 12 down on very low vol. This morning they opened 8 up. If close close up any day they open next day down similar pattern every day.Sonebody is at it everyday. | lucy123
03/10/2018 16:30 | I’m pleased I’m not a chartist! The cup handle thing has gone somewhat awry! Still bullish on Mears. Salty | saltaire111
31/8/2018 11:02 | And for chartists, the Cup has formed a perfect handle. Supposedly a very bullish pattern (not that I believe in charts). Salty | saltaire111
31/8/2018 11:00 | Just need to break through £4.00. The inexorable recovery continues so it shouldn’t be long. Salty | saltaire111
20/8/2018 22:15 | This just keeps creeping and creeping regardless of the main market. V.positive | useless23
17/8/2018 13:25 | Well useless, it’s just us then! Salty | saltaire111
17/8/2018 09:52 | And up again today. Cannot understand why this board is so quiet. Mears is the best recovery opportunity in the market at the moment. Salty | saltaire111
16/8/2018 14:51 | Looks like the market analysts are starting to catch up on the recovery that’s taking hold. Better late than never! I’m buying more Mears Group with the proceeds from Esure. Salty | saltaire111
14/8/2018 12:48 | Nor me. I expected revenue decline to be well into double digits and profits to be down. Given the noise about the outsourcers, Capita et-al, I thought the management team would take the opportunity to rinse out any bad news but they didn’t have any. So good news all round. I’ve bought some more as this looks like a no-brainier given the really solid business and highly attractive yield. Just think it’s a bit too boring for those who like a bit of razzamatazz. Salty | saltaire111
14/8/2018 11:14 | I can't believe the share price is down with these results. | useless23
14/8/2018 07:16 | Wow! Profit growth and Divi up! I didn’t expect profits to be up. Expected revenues to be much lower than -8% too, given recent turmoil in sector. These are very good results. Salty. | saltaire111
09/8/2018 13:55 | I'm in here. In fact I only hold 2 stocks, this and NXT. I am bearish on the market as a whole. | useless23
08/8/2018 08:55 | Very quiet here. Not a particularly exciting business to be in but I think the prospects here are exciting. Salty | saltaire111
20/6/2018 07:45 | Trading update looks good to me. The market is not recognising what a good business this is. Salty | saltaire111
14/6/2018 13:36 | The upside potential here now surely outweighs any further downside pressure. Screaming buy? Salty | saltaire111
22/5/2018 18:53 | Tipped in Investors Chronicle last week: "Following the fire at Grenfell Tower last year, Mears twice reduced its revenue expectations as local authorities undertook reviews and put discretionary spending on hold. However, with reviews now complete, and Mears well placed to benefit from an increased focus on health & safety, there are reasons for guarded optimism. Meanwhile, the care business has been restructured and has exited problem contracts, which helped to return the division to profit in the second half of 2017. We think the value now on offer makes the shares hard to ignore." | okosling
21/5/2018 16:19 | I just bought shares here. My view is that the contagion with other outsourcers is over done. MER could end up being a considerable beneficiary. Salty. | saltaire111
