Will there be a counter bid, board have agreed this soft offer and the clock is ticking so a n other bidder needs to get moving.......it does'nt feel like its over to me yet tbh

Another daylight robbery by Loan Star, way below asset and intrinsic value!

Short term shareholders will probably bite their hand off for the cash, and management no doubt have been silenced by the promise of a juicy bone.

In 2015 we had a bid of £180p when NAV was 30% lower. The new CEO and management are getting their act together, with great plans to roll out accessible homes in town centres. Covid will pass and this flagship asset will be worth north of £2 again.

I only hope some of the more responsible institutions tell Loan Star this company is not for sale on the cheap.

A full and fair offer would be around the 180p mark imo

An acceptable offer perhaps somewhere in between 180 and 115


remember assets are held on the balance sheet at 'COST'

i have no doubt there is lots of hidden value on the MCS balance sheet



Anyway no need to accept 115p right now

I already have plenty of cash waiting to be invested elsewhere

was looking at the long term value of the assets not reflected on the balance sheet

I guess as it has been recommended that's the minimum we will be getting.

Well done - I wish I bought some - I just could not see a market for retirement homes while covid pandemic going on so I did not buy. It just seemed nuts.
But I was totally wrong.
Well deserved win for people who went for the tip.
