It's been a while since someone has been confident enough to invest over £10k in this company.

Unlikely to be a director buy, given that they're currently in a close period ahead of the Prelims on 11th August.

Gemmashemma - 14 Jul'11 - 10:00 - 4087 of 4097

"As a representative of a small committee of MBL shareholders who are riding the storm of the loss of the Morrison's contract, and support the the team of Peter Cowgill, Trevor Allan and Ms Clarke who have done a sterling job the past 6 months especially..."

Comedy gold!

The identity of Timesmoney, Gemmashemma or indeed anyone else on this BB is irrelevant as long as they post the truth [whatever their motivation.]
This is clearly not the case with Gemmashemma who's comments are such obvious nonsense as to make them valueless.

The RNS only went out a month ago whereas the website is probably not their main priority for keeping investors informed these days....if ever we were of course! Whether that AGM date has been fixed is a different matter but three months gap between results and AGM is very poor indeed and the first half would already have ended by then.

The prelims are on 11th August as per the last announcement from the company

'The negotiations with Morrisons Supermarket plc ("Morrisons") in relation to the contractual matters requiring resolution are continuing. Whilst significant progress has been made by MBL in reducing the level of exposure to Morrisons in terms of debtors and allocated stocks, there remains a residual asset "lock up", which is the subject of continuing work in progress and dispute dialogue. The Board has been disappointed that a conclusion has not yet been reached and a further update will be provided with the Preliminary Announcement, which will be released on Thursday 11 August 2011.

Another three weeks to go then...

The AGM in September should be interesting. There were only four shareholders there last year including me. I expect a much larger attendance this year.

According to the website, prelims due next Wed 20/7, so presumably they'll have to tell us something then!

Gemmashemma....Which group of shareholders exactly do you represent ?
Why do you call them a committee !? Have you met the Board or do you already know them personally ?
If Timesmoney is Mark Frey as you suggest why should that be a problem so long as he does not tell any lies or suggest anything to weaken the share price intentionally for his own gain ?
If you have checked through his postings ...What incorrect information has been provided IYHO ?
What happened to the poster months ago who had all his postings deleted ?

"Gemmashemma - 4088: the the team of Peter Cowgill, Trevor Allan and Ms Clarke who have done a sterling job the past 6 months especially"

LOL - while they were doing such "a sterling job" over the "past 6 months especially" the share price has crashed by over 90%. The mind absolutely boggles as to where the share price might be today if they hadn't done such "a sterling job" during that time !

Which planet do you inhabit Gemmashemma ? I note that you are also a brand new poster on ADVFN too ! As you are speculating on the possible identity of "Timesmoney" perhaps you would enlighten everyone here by revealing your own identity and indicating what connection, if any, you might have to the BoD who you appear to hold in such very high regard despite the massive fall in the value of your shareholding !

I'd be grateful if you could explain just what they have done apart from preside over a sinking ship doing nothing much. I'd like to know anything that they have done. Maybe they should have been sent out selling DVDs at car boot sales instead of running off to mess up other companies. I doubt whether Cowgill even thinks about MBL some weeks - He has other more important bigger companies.
