double top, batman config not helping,
buyers will arrive around .476 which is about a 50% drop from Novembers spike up, so pretty standard stuff and nothing to worry about.

Believe we are now at a 'stalemate', the 'holders' have picked up the loose stock that the 'traders' have sold.

All now waiting for the update but given how tight this now looks to be held I can see a strong reaction to positive news.

Very true. Many smallcaps have accepted the market has little desire for high-risk costly exploration wells, which usually lead to dusters and, in some cases, outright failure. Thus, a far more efficient way to invest capital is to go where the oil has already been discovered and employ new techniques and practices to enhance production and returns. That is not only a safer approach for capital, it pays real dividends when the oil price increases.

I think the 'play it safe' workover approach is what attracts me to PPC, MYN, ZEN, CERP and TXP.

All will re-rate at some point in 2018 I hope.

It looks like working over existing wells is the path forward for many small companies, Wayne. We only need to look at PPC to see what can be achieved in a short period of time.....revenue levels currently at approx. US$5 million per month and on a steep upward trajectory. This in contrast to the total H1 2017 revenue of US$5.6 million.

I would think PPC must be due a very serious re-rate....and soon.

Is it likely to make Malcy's Bucket List for 2018?

That's the part I was referring to in my email..ie..'Results are expected from the first workover by the beginning of the week commencing 15 January'

It needs clarifying if they intend giving an update once all the w/o's are complete, but that quote from that 15.Jan gives the impression that an update was going to come after the first w/o.

In respect to zen, its all down to the Zardab field, z28/z21.. There has been NANY disappoints from zen over the last year, and its all dependant on the success of the above two wells for market confidence to return to that company.

In fairness, expectation is very different to actual reporting of results. It may well come altogether at the end of the month, but it will be pretty damn crucial now. They have built up expectations through official releases.

I agree but PIs seem to be expecting an RNS due to this statement:-

"Results are expected from the first workover by the beginning of the week commencing 15 January with work starting on the balance of workovers following thereafter."

The only reference I can see in the RNS of 09 January 2018, re a specific update, is with regard to the Stockdale Morris 1 well...."An update will be provided on completion of the water disposal line and initiation of production from both the Upper and Lower Anacacho formations".

I agree that progress has been slow.

We saw the pictures of the rig onsite more than 2 weeks ago so lets hope they have worked over 2 - 3 wells by now.
