Nice breakout yesterday though and stock only got halfway through Junes gap.
Could just as easily have panic buying if it looks to be turning so some caution both ways imo.

As a former AEX shareholder, I would be happy to see them get shot of shoats creek, once they can achieve a sensible price for it. A troublesome field with access and infrastructure problems located in a swampy area. It was part of the old NCT strategy, it does not fit in with the new plan.

Normally when you can buy at bid it's a bad or weak sign but in this stock it can pay off because when it turns it really motors fast.

Pp - Align Research in their recent note (3.77p NPV) do not include any value for Shoats Creek.


• Shoats Creek – Mayan has a 50% WI and 37.7% NRI in the Lutcher Moore (LM 13) Shallow Well formation, along with a 20% WI and 15.08% NRI in LM 20 for oil, and a 50% WI and 37.7% NRI in respect of gas. The company first became involved in Shoats Creek in Louisiana in 2014. However, performance has been disappointing due the capital nature of the project and so Shoats Creek which is now likely to be sold. We have not included any value for Shoats Creek in our evaluation and do not consider Shoats Creek as material to the investment thesis of Mayan.

I'm not sure whether any success at Shoats Creek would be more beneficial to the Company in income terms or added value, should the Company interest in the Field be sold on, as it might take a bit of cash to develop the field.

Is it anywhere near EWL or ELV?

Re your post 627 (Shoats Creek).

The Operations RNS September 6 2017 mentions the Lutcher Moore 20 well.

"Operations to restore continuous production to the Lutcher Moore # 20 well have been completed and successful with a 24-hour test yielding 123 barrels of oil. Flooding associated with Hurricane Harvey has necessitated shutting in the Lutcher Moore # 20 and ceasing operations at Shoats Creek generally until weather conditions improve".

According to the records on this well, when it was first drilled and completed it produced 250 bpd, but I think they had problems at that time getting it flowing properly as no monthly production figures follow on from completion. Last official well status 33 - Shut-in well, future utility.

Anything under £5million market cap is very cheap based on initial success of the first work overs which we’ll know about in the next 2 weeks.
If these are successful and 500 bopd looks achievable H1 2018 then £15 million should be justified.
