Thanks, Trout

I remember it first time round and thought it was the bees knees then. Time will tell with the new version.

oneforthemoney,
Far too complicated! but I do own a 2,4 and a 5 year old, so have had some experience watching childrens TV over the last few years.

needs advertiseing on the comic mags and the merchantdice will also help if this is adopted by the children and the viewers rateing are high then the second series in the making can then go on the tv in the spring whilst the first series can be adopted by cannada and other cable networks intrims due soon but still a risky punt maybe a penny in the offering

I will be interested in feedback.

I will structure some questions for my grandchildren eg: Which are their two favourite characters. Which are their two least favourite. List three things they liked about it and three things that they did not like about it.

I have only seen yesterday's opening episode.

After only one hearing I am not over impressed with the song. A song can be a tremendous asset to a property like this - or not.
The Wombles had three major hit songs. Postman Pat, Fireman Sam (the original) have great songs. Bob the Builder has a better song than its programmes. Bob the Builder's song is even used in discos.

I thought it was an over rich feast. Too many characters introduced in episode one. The character voices are average. With so many characters getting in on the act voices can get confusing. When the two female characters were talking together (was it the giraffe and the lamb?), could you really differentiate between them?

The lamb's funniest line about brushing her wool for the party was barely intelligible.
Not impressed with the drawing of the lamb - it may hark back to the original puppet, but is that necessary in 2D animation?

Some of the audience for this will be children who are just learning to speak.
A slower pace still allows humour to come through. The humour can come partly from the character differentiation - but you have to be able to pick up what they are saying.

As an investor I hope others have more positive views on this 'flagship' animation for Maverick.

Just got some of the answers from the company.
690 million shares now in issue.

£200K was raised in a two stage placing of 84 million shares.

Interim figures out later this week.

Should be interesting to see comments in the press and possibly Shares magasine and Investors Chronicle in the next few weeks.

As a grandad and a shareholder I do have a view.

I have sat for ages watching these things eg Camberwick Green, Trumpton, Postman Pat etc originally with my own chidren and now with my grandchildren, Pingu, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam etc. Can probably claim a world record for an adult in hours watching Teletubbies. I used to look after my first grandson while his mum was at work.

I did not see a complete episode this morning - missed the beginning.

I will reserve judgement until I have seen a few complete episodes.

Its back on CBeebies at 4.30 this afternoon, I believe.

Decided to have a small punt on these. Anyone actually seen it yet. No one over 5 can really have any judgement.

Hi all,

I dropped a few bob on this in Nov at 0.000000053p or whatever extra "0"'s they have added.

It's money I had nothing else to do with so it won't be missed.

Felt at the time that by now the world might be right for a new fireman sam, super ted or whatever. Since then I must admit my money has been written off and now I just about hold the faintest hope of getting my money back. But you never know, at least it's in the can now.

Good Luck everyone.

KO.

This management has no notion of "cash flows or management accounting" it is typical example of "media studies" and will go bust shortly.
