27/7/2004 16:01 | Anyway guys, despite Dell's best efforts we're still 30% up and tomorrow looks very promising for further increases! | springbok
27/7/2004 16:00 | Oh No!! Not Lamborghini here - now we've got the full menagerie | springbok
27/7/2004 12:57 | another small cap rising today is WTS deal on it way check out the RNS | nissi beach
27/7/2004 12:49 | We should reach .75p mid today or tomorrow - that looks like a resistance point (from looking at the chart) - Once we break through that the sky's the limit! | springbok
27/7/2004 11:53 | Dell spends his whole time abusing and running down people and also small cap companies who are probably battling but at the same time making headway as well as trying to give their shareholders some value for money - sad case! | springbok
27/7/2004 11:44 | By the way, even if this does drop a bit before close, doesn't really matter - You won't tempt me into selling so don't even try! Small and slow rises over a reasonable period are much better and more sustainable then one breathtaking one | springbok
27/7/2004 11:41 | dell - a lot of "monkeys" are making money this year too - I point your attention to BGY for instance as well as MCX and others too numerous to mention. It's true that this year has not been so easy but talk to me again in December and we'll see who's right By the way, how much did you make watching the monkeys last year? | springbok
27/7/2004 11:05 | Springbok - A monkey could have made money in last year's rising small cap market. Hopefully, you are aware that the situation is now very different. As for suggesting that this is not a P'n'D share, MM action could still easily be a bull trap for PIs, as the bid is only currently slightly over the lowest purchase prices paid. Level2 is very weak also, with only EVO on the bid at 0.45 and the next bids at 0.35p. Do you feel lucky..... Rgds dell | dell314
27/7/2004 10:56 | Should be an interesting share to hold onto for a month or two - If there are RTO possibilities we could be sitting on a multibagger! | springbok
27/7/2004 10:32 | this IS NOT a P & D share - I think that the potential here is ENORMOUS - now holding 350k and looking to add more this week!! | springbok
27/7/2004 10:30 | Dell my comments may be silly and meaningless IN YOUR OPINION , however I KNOW a share with potential when I have seen one | springbok
27/7/2004 09:52 | trading blue The shareholders will. I dont know what the management of this company is like though, which is why I believe the right strategy is to follow it closely and get out before the merger. Talk of takeover will make the shareprice rise. How high is another matter. A 30% rise today is not bad and that is without any city whispers in the papers etc. If you hold, good luck to you and fellow shareholders. I hope you all make a lot of money, which is why we are in shares in the first place. | daddy warbucks
27/7/2004 09:45 | Daddy Warbucks Agree with what you say but they will want the price a lot higher before any merger takes place. | trading blue
27/7/2004 09:36 | BB If they relist with MVK and others, there will be some value. They have losses of £22 million pounds which can be offset against profits (Whatever they are!) in the new company. The only thing is they will be awash with shares. I would think the merger with MVK will be a reverse takeover, made up entirely of paper. I did think of buying into MVK yesterday, but the risks are still great. The offer price was rising but the bid didnt move. The spread even now is quite large which represents the risks involved. If people can trade this share and get out before the merger, this may be the best strategy, but what do I know. If you bought in yesterday, you still cant get out with a profit at the moment. | daddy warbucks
27/7/2004 09:28 | As a loser of cash on the Butt Uglies - are old school JUS holders still hopeful of getting any money back on a relist? Surely not. The merger would make a lot of sense though. Impact on MVK's share price is not clear but interesting news nonetheless. | britishbear
27/7/2004 08:54 | This company is in talks with the Former Just Group and Four Point Entertainment, with a view to a possible merger of all. None of the companies have much money, but Maverick have the Aim Listing, which is what the other two want. Just Group (now called Newscreen Media Group) and Four point have an EGM shortly to cement their merger. From activity with this share, it could well be that the talks with MVK are coming to a head. What is sure, is that once all the merges are done, the 'new' management of the company, possibly called Think Entertainment will be calling asking for money from the shareholders and possibly the City. Good Luck to all holders. (I do not own shares in MVK but have been keeping an eye on them since the above information broke some months ago. | daddy warbucks
27/7/2004 08:53 | dell314 Point taken but the AIM market is in a world of it's own and wouldn't surprise me if they walked it back to 2p then had a fund raising. | trading blue
27/7/2004 08:40 | Trading blue - You'll have to be more precise about what you think I'm overdoing. Springbok has posted many more times than I have, with his silly meaningless positive comments, yet you haven't told him that he is overdoing it. I am serious about considering FSA involvement. Don't you find it suspicious that this company has only made a single profit in its entire history. That profit happened to be £261k when a £250k profit was required to earn directors over 30mln shares. Results since that year have been atrocious. The company has relied on fund raisings through penny share pushers like Hoodless and City Equities, suggesting that they have failed to convince institutions that they are worth backing. Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc | dell314
27/7/2004 08:39 | Just picked up 100k @ .65 this looks like it has some mileage now. | trading blue
27/7/2004 08:38 | 20% UP - IT'S GONNA BLOW!! | springbok
27/7/2004 08:38 | 20% UP - IT'S GONNA BLOW!! | springbok
27/7/2004 08:34 | Dell is a total idiot as far as I'm concerned - why he can't leave this thread to holders of MVK I really don't know | springbok
27/7/2004 08:32 | There's good money in it blue! | ggekkko |
