Update on Timing of Full Year Results Announcement

Mattioli Woods plc (AIM: MTW.L), the specialist wealth and asset management business, announces a revised date for the publication of its Full Year Results for the year ended 31 May 2021.

The Company has announced a number of acquisitions in recent months including LWMG Topco Limited ("Ludlow Wealth Management"), which is expected to complete within the next few days following receipt of regulatory approval of the change in control from the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA"). Following discussion with Mattioli Woods' auditor Deloitte LLP, the results are now expected to be published on Tuesday, 21 September 2021. This will give time for completion of the financial reporting processes including those relating to the accounting treatment for all acquisitions completed by Mattioli Woods, and Deloitte LLP the required time to complete its audit of the results. The Board expects the Group's adjusted profit for the year ended 31 May 2021 to remain in line with its expectations and remains positive about the Group's prospects.

Following the trading update announced on 6 July 2021, in the first two months of the new financial year the Group has seen positive momentum continue to build, with greater client activity and increasing inflows into the bespoke investment services the Group has developed. The Board expects the Group to secure further organic growth this year, while continuing to progress its acquisition and integration strategy.
