28/5/2017 20:05 | Exactly what I thought Rodders, maybe it's an error on the letter, I will check with them to clarify how many shares I have to see if it tallies with the letter. | nedhammers1
28/5/2017 17:05 | You should have around 4260 new shares equating to around £3k | rodneyfoster
28/5/2017 15:43 | 851874 that's how many shares I had in old world just checked my Halifax account | nedhammers1
28/5/2017 11:36 | What I meant to say is I bought/held £16976 worth at the time and my average cost was roughly 1.96p in old money, and I thought that equates to around £3000 in the new world of 8sek. I suppose I did not check too closely .... | nedhammers1
27/5/2017 23:10 | Hi Rodders all I know the I bought just under 2p average at a rough cost of £16976 before delist .... | nedhammers1
27/5/2017 12:55 | The problem is the Melody loan which is $20m at 15%, this accounts for $3m per annum in interest payments out of a total of $4.8m. If they could refinance this loan at say 5%, that would shave $2m of the annual interest payments. It would improve cash flow and make more funds available for development. | beggarman
27/5/2017 11:16 | Thanks Beggarman, yes I was worried about the interest payments on the loan as that cut into any profit or capital to invest, I think if they don't dilute the share price then yes looks much more positive :-) thank you for my valuation much better than the 3k I was expecting my book value was 17k but am happy with that better than nout! And looks likely to increase in value, happy days | nedhammers1
27/5/2017 10:35 | ned - I read somewhere else that they are trying to renegotiate the debt to reduce interest payments. This is dependent on production increases but if they could avoid a placing by improving cash flow that would have a positive effect on the share price. 8515 * 7.8 (Friday's bid price)/11.13sek/&pou | beggarman
27/5/2017 10:33 | If you now have 8515 should have held around 170k previously | rodneyfoster
27/5/2017 10:30 | How many did you hold preconsilidation | rodneyfoster
27/5/2017 10:26 | It looks good news, but for most it just means not as big a loss as expected even if it doubles, but so much better than nothing as we first thought :-), I'm being lazy and finally my transfer has gone through from Halifax to share centre. I think for some reason they have doubled my actual shares, I thought it shud only be 4000 odd but my account is showing 8515 how much would that be worth in sterling? My rough calculation was about 7k, anyone please? | nedhammers1
27/5/2017 09:46 | There was a broker note from Eric Penser yesterday, the translation is as follows: Erik Penser: High price potential in the share - but at high risk The oil and gas company Matra Petroleum's share has great potential but with a high risk. This means Erik Penser Bank in an analytical commentary after Tuesday's first report as a public company. The first quarter was broadly expected, however, but the bank believes that quarterly production was somewhat clerical than expected. Production for the rest of the year and 2018 looks lighter: "Following the report, we have increased our estimate of revenue by 4.9 percent for this year and 4.1 percent for 2018 based on slightly increased assumptions about production for the new wells being drilled. We now count on average production of 1,000 barrels a day And 1,790 barrels for this year and 2018, "writes Erik Penser Bank. During the first quarter, the oil company's production was 654 barrels per day. The company aims to reach 6,000 barrels a day, which could happen in 3-4 years according to Matra Petroleum's CEO Maxim Barskiy. However, in an overall comment, the bank points out that Matra Petroluem is at high risk for a new issue in the future. However, the face is large: "With an attractive valuation and favorable prospects for increased production, we therefore see a high exchange rate potential in the share at a high risk. If the company succeeds in achieving its production target without making money from the owners, we see more than a doubling potential in the share." | beggarman

25/5/2017 16:05 | You may as well see how it pans out for 6 months. I'm not an expert but if the share price is holding currently and there all this work to be carried out then selling later just may ease the loss. You've waited 3 years wants another 6 months. I have a lot to lose so let it ride. | dougal18101947
25/5/2017 10:06 | That's great, Halifax and sharecentre sorted mine out between them in the end, they were helpful, it's just not a normal transaction and new to them, hence the length of time to resolve glad it's sorted. I'm not sure to hold or sell and invest elsewhere. Might just wait for the next news .... | nedhammers1
