03/7/2014 08:11 | Very good update. The share is off the radar unfortunately and positive developments at the Company seem not to get picked up by the market. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
03/7/2014 07:56 | Positive sounding update. Can't see any factors heading in the wrong direction, though it focuses on revenue rather than profit | spangle93
14/5/2014 07:42 | Agreed. VERY STRONG update. The IMS contains the MAGIC WORDS:- "... it is likely that full year results will be ABOVE CURRENT MARKET EXPECTATIONS". Other details:- -Revenue up 22% -Public Sector/Commercial sales up 19% -Domestic Sales up 19% -International sales up 65% - now being 6% of Group Sales -Forward indicators increasingly positive in all markets -Strong growth in all markets -Increasing output to meet growing demand. Looks set for an excellent year ahead for Marshalls after a terrific start. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
14/5/2014 07:09 | Liking this morning's update, time for a leg up on the share price graph? Marshalls has experienced a strong start in 2014 and, although it is only 19 weeks into the current year, if the positive market conditions continue it is likely that the full year results will be above current market expectations. .. Marshalls is experiencing strong sales growth in all its major end markets and the Group is increasing output to meet growing demand and deliver benefits from operational gearing. The Group remains focused on product innovation and service delivery initiatives to deliver continued sales growth and improve trading margins. | spangle93

21/2/2014 08:40 | Lovely break out from that looong pennant - reports of brick shortages holding back construction in the North West yesterday can only be good for all brick companies. | niggle
21/2/2014 08:18 | Looking good on the chart. Breaking above the multi-month consolidation by the looks of things. Time to start moving up again? | protean
17/2/2014 08:31 | Marshalls seem to have some good designs for water management products. After this winter's flooding, water management is going to be high on the agenda on any future development plans. | yewtrees
08/1/2014 09:38 | Agreed. Well done. After recent bad weather, there should be a good additional boost for their hard landscaping products. But they really do need to hire a decent PR firm to help them write their announcements. One of the most poorly scripted I have read in a long time which detracts from an otherwise respectable performance. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
08/1/2014 09:18 | Well done Marshalls. I hope that Marshalls are sending their salesmen round to all the large developers. | yewtrees
29/11/2013 23:30 | Marshalls did well in the last housing boom. They do more than paving. | yewtrees
28/11/2013 07:41 | Where bricks lead, paving definitely follows. Big article on Page 1 of today's FT about enormous demand for bricks. The brick makers are according to the FT working "flat out", reopening previously shut down brick-making plant and Hanson will "relight the kiln in its mothballed Claughton works and keep the rest of its plants going all winter" as demand rockets. The government Help to Buy initiatives have lit a fire under the housing market which will undoubtedly in my view spread from demand for brick to demand for paving. The economic and market back-drop looks very encouraging indeed for Marshalls. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
