31/10/2005 14:53 | have no real view mg78 other than todays news may fuel further interest in the sector, in particular undervalued and unloved stocks like mrl! | adparker
31/10/2005 14:49 | 13.5c - 14c (6.5p - 6.75p) in toronto | adparker
31/10/2005 14:48 | Thank you ADParker. What do you think? Wrote to Medoro yesterday with the message that shareholder sentiment towards the company/management seemed to be at an all time low, and that it was my opinion that they could well expect a formal complaint from holders in the near future. Have also written to minesite and AIM expaining shareholder concern. Wierd share price movement today. Opinions from anyone please. mg78. | mg78

31/10/2005 00:41 | Truly disappointing news, and I would be amazed if any other Major would touch MO now,and we certainly DONT want to attempt to finance it. The only silver lining is that we have potentially a nice cash shell with, no commitments that would deter a third party, yet still the hope of smelter royalties. On the basis that current Management seem to want to wash their hands of the situation I would cling to the hope that out there must be dozens of cos with decent prospects that would love the opportunity of reversing into a dual listed stock-with cash - so I pray that is the possible solution that we will be offered. Seeing as they seem to like Europe so much, maybe they should just take a stake in Ormonde Mining, which at least looks like a Company that WILL eventually get to actually mine in their part of Spain. We shall see. | richgit
30/10/2005 12:34 | Well done VFP - a man of action. Count me in. For months and months I have thought that the management have no reasonable excuse left to be in place. They have done NOTHING to grow the company and LOTS to decrease the value of the business. I personally believe they are corrupt - that is my personal opinion, and I cant bear it for them to continue paying themselves for such a miserable effort. I look forward to further news and once again express my full support. Thanks, mg78. | mg78
30/10/2005 00:42 | well, the situation seems so down to zero with the pull out of goldfields that it cannot seem possible to believe that management will come with a good explaination for this horrible state of affair. but I expect them to communicate pretty soon... I will work on it. | victorfromportugal
29/10/2005 13:26 | The AIM needs to tighten up its regulation against such insidious "management". It's a debacle. Count me in as a complainer. Did not Minesite want to keep an eye on MRL? | dogberry202000
29/10/2005 12:36 | I still cannot believe that the former management of GMN washed their hands so easily and left us with a bunch of managers even worse... oh dear... chat soon. | victorfromportugal
29/10/2005 12:34 | OK I will suggest a plan of action for next week. Regards. | victorfromportugal
29/10/2005 12:23 | VICTOR e-mail sent, feel we must attempt something | alexx
29/10/2005 11:55 | all right I will get the names of people on the board and their address and email, then the list of shareholders and get enough people to send a petition to the board and other shareholders... the sitution needs action: at least stop management payment millions !!! at least if the costs are kept to a minimal our 6p per share can be saved... schat later this week. | victorfromportugal
29/10/2005 11:34 | Absolutely agree. I can not believe the management are still in place. We need the entire board replacing. They have done NOTHING positive for the company. I urge all shareholders to firstly actively, sensibly and inteligently complain and then come together in order to rid this company of these parasites. I will never ever again touch a stock with a single member of this current management on board. They couldnt have done a worse job if they tried. I've never smelt such a corrupt rat. Everything said is in my own opinion. VFP - you need to go beyond the utterly useless clown Peter Volk (who is basically the company puppet) and start getting opinions to the the rest of the board direct. I've never had such an issue with a management team before, so I dont mind admitting that this is unfamiliar territory for me. But rest assured, I want the entire board fired just like every other share holder. | mg78
29/10/2005 11:14 | I cannot believe that Gold Fields invested in 30 millions shares in january 2005 at 6p to pull out in ...october 2005 from MO? What's the logic? they were supposed to start drilling in July 2005 but it did not happen, Pastarena will be written off and now GF is out of MO... IT IS CATASTROPHIC... Monday I will write to Peter Volk and will post the letter here and then try to talk to him on the phone. The last email from August was very vague and really disappointing quarter figures at the end of august... Pastarena out, the failed project of the Andine mines in 2004. Let's do something, I will suggest to call an EGM ...but where? Toronto? London? to disolve the company or at least sack the borad to same some cash that is burning for nothing... If we could get our 6p per share minus 1p for costs ... we could at least reinvest in something better what do you think? my email is victor@boursomail.co | victorfromportugal
29/10/2005 00:46 | thay should be made to give our 6p of cash back first they need to stop the boss pay | made1686
29/10/2005 00:39 | These are very bad news... who is going to fund MO now? no news from Medoro!!! This is absolutely terrible... The split from GMN was a dreadful orchestration... it's absolutely catastrophic... no news, no nothing, the company is going to collapse... | victorfromportugal
28/10/2005 17:58 | Perhaps they'll wait for the shares to drop even more, then take it private before flogging MO. Who knows, nothing would surprise me! IMHO, this company is a disgrace to AIM and a salutary reminder to investors not to touch companies with dodgy/dubious management. Having said that, AIM is flooded with them. As the gold bull charges on it will get worse, much worse and many people are going to lose their shirts. Trouble is that all this is very damaging to the few companies out there that are run properly by experienced and professional mining people. | pecker1 |
